  1. Of course Dwight Smith Jr. of all people gets a hit off a Foley elevated fastball.
  2. Those fastballs were 94, 92, 94 and 95 for those wondering.
  3. So you're saying Noda is right on track to become just as good?
  4. Well it's the Orioles, one way or another tercet will complain about this.
  5. TIL Ryan Noda played about half his games in the outfield last year.
  6. Did you really have to change sports to make that point? The Orioles are literally coming off consecutive wins against the New York Yankees.
  7. Hey, show some respect for the second place team in the AL East.
  8. Is Cuba supposed to be vanilla now?
  9. Adam Lind was good for us, had that breakout 2009 year, then struggled for a couple before becoming platoon Jesus. Wasn't annoyed with his tenure at all. Eric Thames on the other hand...woof. It was like having Teoscar Hernandez with 2/3 of the power and half the defense, brutal baseball player for us.
  10. Kevin Mench is also known at the guy who ended Roy Halladay's 2005 Cy Young candidacy. But yeah those 2008-2010 teams had some guys who were very rough to watch.
  11. His swing is a thing of beauty. It seems like he throws his entire upper body at the ball but with so much control.
  12. Lol Donaldson with one of his patented strikeouts where he throws the bat forward, this time it clipped Arrieta on the shoe.
  13. No mention of RA Dickey? Probably the most frustrating player I've ever watched on the Blue Jays, despite garnering normal results from time to time. Doesn't help that we had to carry Thole with him the whole time and the constant reminder that he was traded for Syndergaard.
  14. Updated AL East Standings: 1. Rays 2. Orioles 3. Blue Jays 4. Yankees 5. Red Sox
  15. Tulo strikes out, the Orioles just took two out of three from the Yankees.
  16. The Orioles are running Mychal Givens, their top trade asset, for 50 pitches.
  17. How can you blame that on Contreras? You can't expect the catcher to block a fastball that bounces a foot in front of the plate, he didn't stand a chance.
  18. Lmao, that was awful Strop.
  19. The Cubs going with a 5-man infield with the winning run at third and one out.
  20. Don't look now but the Orioles are currently beating the Yankees for the second game in a row.
  21. 80 pitches in his first start of the season, only the Max Scherzers and Justin Verlanders of the world are going over 100 pitches that time around.
  22. Christian Yelich is quite good.
  23. Kolten Wong just got drilled on the side of the head by a throw on a steal attempt. He seems fine overall but definitely a bit rattled.
  24. That was like a Kansas City game, Candelario gets everything going his way and nothing falls for us.
