  1. There's plenty of reasons not to bring Biggio up. Do you really want to see another inexperienced player be shoved into the fire before he has to? Is the current display by the young guys making you yearn for more of them? Not everyone is Vlad Jr., most of these guys have things to work on in the minors and would struggle in the bigs if they're pushed before they're ready.
  2. On the bright side, the pitching was stellar again. We're currently leading the majors in pitching WAR, second in strikeouts (after the Indians of course), just above average in walk rate, middle of the pack in groundball rate. The relievers are a tad worse than the starters but both are comfortably in the top 10. Hopefully the hitting regresses to the mean before the pitching does lol.
  3. Gameday has a feed tab in which they put the batted ball velocities after every at bat. That's usually what I use but there might be faster/better alternatives.
  4. That was probably Gurriel's hardest hit ball this year, unfortunate. 105 mph.
  5. Cleveland's pitching staff is disgusting. That's why it's such a shame that they barely tried to upgrade their offense to go along with it in the offseason.
  6. It must look like 101 with his delivery.
  7. Surprised Luis Rivera didn't send Brito there, dude was flying around the bases.
  8. Our hitting problems this season have not been an inability to go to the opposite field.
  9. Man I thought that ball was ten rows deep.
  10. Look, the shift worked to perfection. This won't be brought up again, but boy just wait until a hitter gets a random roller off the end of their bat that finds a hole where a "traditional" defender would have been.
  11. wRC+ by year: 2015: 171 2016: 170 2017: 181 2018: 191 He hasn't even reached his final form, it's f***ed.
  12. That sucks, a good throw still gets Perez out at first.
  13. Mike Trout is good. More at 11.
  14. That was a really good slider on the groundball, no idea why Drury didn't attempt to make the throw, it's not like he bobbled the ball that badly.
  15. Definitely a ball but Roberto Perez is such a pest.
  16. The crew working on the broadcast are having a really hard time lol. Last inning the strike zone shrunk, now we've lost the strikezone, velocity, the pitcher's pitch count and for a moment the score itself all at the same time.
  17. That was f***ing scorched.
  18. That was a sweet swing by Teoscar. Carrasco is attacking the outside corner like it's nobody's business.
  19. What is up with Freddy Galvis? Wow
  20. I love this, they're literally just spamming the changeup now like you would instruct your prospect in high A to. Developing someone like that at the MLB level is really a sight to watch.
  21. Nice changeup from Elvis there.
  22. 6 worse offenses too, pretty remarkable. That includes the Reds, Rockies and the team with Mike Trout.
