You gotta feel terrible for Hess here. He completely dominated and to be pulled at only 82 pitches is tough. Props to him, we were bad but he was painting with his fastball pretty much all game long.

At least Pannone has done well to rest the bullpen.

No, he was hitting 95-96 in the first inning, 93-94 with regularity in the first few hitters. He either took a bit off to try to command it better or he was getting exhausted after two long and stressful innings.

The MiLB stats say SRF strikes out a lot of hitters and also walks many of them. What about that last inning disproved his MiLB stats?
