  1. Or because he's otherwise never been able to limit his walks or get strikeouts at a high level. But yes, muh analytics is why people aren't fans of him.
  2. That ball was drilled, Garcia made that play look easy but he covered a ton of room in a short amount of time.
  3. He just missed that, he's getting fired up folks.
  4. Easily his best curveball this season. The location on these strikeouts has been perfect.
  5. That's awful, Galvis didn't even tag him. Replay needs to be able to get that play right.
  6. I'm sorry but no. He's been healthy this entire year and has been bad, he's only been good as a starter in 2016 which points more to that being an outlier than his true talent. He needs to keep this going for an extended period of time, a few innings where he looks unhittable is not enough for us to throw away 2 consecutive seasons plus another month of terrible performance.
  7. Sanchez looks incredible thus far, nice to see.
  8. The home plate ump has no business making that swing call. He barely went around.
  9. I've single handedly started Vlad's launch angle regression. You're all welcome.
  10. Love that Danny Jansen took the pink equipment thing to the next level.
  11. That's a treacherous ball to read, but man does Leury Garcia look stupid on that play lol.
  12. That is literally the right call, he just stood there and then took a couple of steps to completely block the catcher. Regardless it was a bad pop up and he didn't deserve to reach base safely, so whatever.
  13. Maybe the catcher would have had an easier play if the behemoth that is Rowdy Tellez hadn't stood in his path.
  14. McKinney is a f***ing tire fire in the outfield. I swear he didn't look nearly this poor last year.
  15. Holy f*** what an absolute missile. 118.9 mph EV, that's upper echelon.
  16. All things considered that inning could have gone a lot worse.
  17. Not even close. Remember when Phillip Humber threw a perfect game? He had more seasons with negative WAR than positive.
