  1. Clayton Kershaw is having an approximately average start through 5 innings and Rick Sutcliffe is acting like he's Bartolo Colon out there. This is awful to listen to.
  2. Wow Kiermaier didn't get to a f***ing ball once, Gurriel just missed another HR by a few inches.
  3. Yup, just par for the course when you're playing Tampa at the Trop.
  4. Another rocket from Vladdy and the outfielder barely has to move.
  5. Wow Jonathan Davis showing the pop! Good for him.
  6. Plus the Rays also have one of the best crews in the game.
  7. Didn't they have to reconstruct his finger nail last year or in the offseason? It's all related I think.
  8. The Rays literally can't do anything to generate new fans in Tampa, assuming their marketing division isn't the worst in professional sports. They have no control over their fans, the biggest predictor for getting fans to come to the ballpark is winning, and the Rays are consistently doing that, or building a foundation for future success. "Cheap owners"? I mean yeah I guess, but if the team isn't generating much revenue, which I can't imagine the Rays are, then a top half payroll just isn't in the cards. Not every team is the Yankees, Dodgers and Boston and can afford to throw a bunch of money at their problems and be profitable in down years, at least the Rays' ownership is keen enough to continue to find intelligent people to run their front office.
  9. Waguespack is racking up the swinging strikes.
  10. What exactly are you disagreeing with me on? Do you disagree that the Rays are an excellently run organization? I'm well aware that their situation in terms of location is terrible, and the fact that in spite of that they have the smartest people in the business to still create a contender is admirable.
  11. f*** playing the Rays, but pretty much everything about their team and organization given their resources is commendable.
  12. For the record, Waguespack got three times as many swinging strikes in that inning as Sanchez did in his entire outing, 27 pitches (6 SwStr) vs. 64 (2 SwStr).
  13. Good inning from Waguespack, can't blame s*** luck on him.
  14. lol @ blaming this on Waguespack. Gets two strikeouts and then the Rays get two garbage hits combined with some awful defense and it's the pitcher's fault.
  15. The Jays at the Trop is always the worst experience ever. Nothing goes our way and the Rays get everything going theirs.
  16. Kiermaier being a pain in the ass, ho-hum.
  17. Well at least Tellez made up for it with a perfect throw to third.
  18. Tampa putting some salt on the wound by starting d'Arnaud behind the plate for this game (yes I know he sucks). I see right through you Kevin Cash.
  19. Actually, Vegas isn't bankrupt because their models and projections are that good.
  20. Does anyone want Logan Forsythe? Eligible at literally every infield position and hitting well. Looking for a pick and/or a DL stash.
  21. Tyler Webb should walked in the go-ahead run after already walking Donaldson prior and the Cardinals rather stupidly IBB'ing Austin Riley.
  22. Jordan Hicks was awful, missing with all of his pitches (all 2 of them). The hitters were sitting on the fastball for the first three ABs and then he started throwing middle-middle sliders.
