  1. Everyone throws 95MPH nowadays. Our worst pitchers hit 95.
  2. Gurriel is terrorizing catchers. So many hit on the backswing in the last two weeks.
  3. Man Gurriel is just throwing rockets from the outfield. His throwing motion is somehow super awkward for the infield but perfect for the outfield.
  4. Did you see him against Skaggs? He was completely outmatched against another lefty.
  5. He has a .433 BABIP with not great K/BB rates. He's a very promising young player and will likely be very good going forward, but he currently isn't necessarily a better hitter than our big bodied future first baseman, although he is likely a better player since he plays a premium position at least at a roughly average level and is a better baserunner. I don't think either has distanced themselves as the superior or inferior prospect.
  6. FTFY, f*** pitchers hitting.
  7. At this point it doesn't really matter, I think we've had enough of Edwin Jackson though. So whatever I guess.
  8. I don't know about that, Nick Kingham's stuff is not what it was, and this is a guy that already wasn't exactly killing it with his previous pitch mix.
  9. The backstory is that Justin Upton is very good and he's a career minor leaguer enjoying a two week hot streak. The Angels will very likely not miss him.
  10. Yeah I'm sure the Blue Jays signed Edwin Jackson because they thought he was a diamond in the rough, a real piece for our team going forward.
  11. Man Edwin Jackson is very very bad, Justin Upton was sure happy to see him in first AB back!
  12. That Cavan Biggio kid is really heating up.
  13. Teoscar padding the stats lol.
  14. His recognition of the strikezone is on a Bautista and Joey Votto level. He probably just takes a few too many borderline pitches with two strikes which are essentially 50/50 calls with umps.
  15. You do realize you created the GDT today right? You're allowed to post in your own GDT.
  16. He's been an elite defensive catcher, so I'd like you to explain to us how he hasn't been playing his position at an above average level.
  17. Thanks for completely messing up the homer, Sportsnet.
  18. Kenley Jansen performed an intentional balk last night. http://dodgersdigest.com/2019/06/15/kenley-jansen-executed-a-rare-intentional-balk-last-night/ Reasoning appears to be to prevent the runner on second from stealing signs? Weird and cool.
  19. Oh f*** off, can't even buy a s***** park homerun.
  20. On the bright side, Gurriel is making incredible throws from the outfield.
  21. Welcome to the Blue Jays lol.
  22. I have it on good authority from a prominent, certified radio scout (no, not the blog/podcast guys) that Aaron Sanchez is a proven FIP beater.
  23. Why should we apologize for the cop being a massive dickhead? f*** him, no chance Ujiri did anything. He was literally on stage making a speech after the team won FFS.
