    Joshua Palacios has been quietly having a pretty decent season in AA. Just turned 24 less than a month ago. 121 wRC+ Career high walk rate at 12.8% K rate unchanged between A+ and AA, 21.3% Identical power - ISO .121 this season compared to .126 in Dunedin 13 steals, 15 last year The only thing that might be telling is he's split his games between CF and the corners this year as opposed to last year when he was mainly a CF'er. As far as development goes though, he has basically performed as well in AA as he has a year after being in A+ so that's a big win.

    This game rapidly went downhill after the first inning. Just awful baseball from that point forward.

    It has, it's gonna be a 4 hour 8.5 inning game at worst if it ends here. Painfully slow, like playing in Fenway.

    The throw was bad obviously but I think McGuire also rushed it thinking the play was gonna be closer, that's a ball he should have come up with even after having to jump for it.

    The uniforms are awful. Whoever commissioned, designed and approved these made a spectacular failure and went completely against the spirit of Players' Weekend.

    Yeah the team with the white uniforms has the pitchers wearing black hats. The black uniforms are all black for everyone.

    That would be great except you can barely see the team logos, the players' numbers and their nicknames on the white jerseys which have white font. Big time failure.

    Huh? deGrom is wearing a black hat contrary to every other player on the field. Matz in the dugout is also wearing a black hat.

    Also the pitchers are wearing black hats whereas the position players are wearing white hats, what's up with that?

    The players' weekend jerseys being all white and all black was a horrible decision. Not only are they incredibly plain, which goes against the whole concept of Players' Weekend being about the players showing their personalities, but they're simply ugly as f***.

    A projection system claiming Jansen will be very good from now until the season isn't showing all potential, it means that it evaluates him as presently being very good.
