  1. AA might panic and resign him to $8-10. Should be interesting to see how much he's offered. He's been horrible with the strike outs especially later in the season when they need every bat to step up he seems to regress.
  2. Or on another team since there's a chance someone might grab him on waivers.
  3. They have money coming off the books, guys who they could send packing with declining their options, guys who they can just release for having little to no purpose (Mastro) and some coming on via arbitration. If they play it right and balance a few things it won't be too horrible. They need to learn from their mistakes. They need to see what we have now, and build some depth since they know guys like Lawrie will be on the DL at some point. We still have some nice young players, made some decent pick ups under the radar ie Reimold, Valencia so they can focus on a few areas.
  4. Is Francisco being punished? Wondering why he, as a lefty, isn't in the lineup?
  5. The ump is probably being a bitch over Narvarro making that gesture/reaction to not getting the called strike the inning before.
  6. I'd assume every team that hears from the Jays has/will ask about those two. Why not? Who wouldn't want them? Either AA can't counteroffer well enough, like you said hangs up and laughs, or doesn't think they're being serious and ignores them.
  7. Ha. Ha! HA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I bet AA gave a straight "GFY" to them on that one.
  8. Damn! That new angle for Happ seems to be working. 10 Ks!
  9. He's all smiles after that. His look/smile seems like he doesn't even believe it haha
  10. GOSE!!!! WOOHOOO!!!!! Best time for your first all year!
  11. Melky negative x-rays. Day-to-day. Hopefully he'll be back tomorrow. We need the offense. If not rest him a day or two to see how the swelling is.
  12. Of course. Can't cash in runs. But worked the counts so his pitch count is up. Hopefully an inning fewer to pitch for him.
  13. Oh of course. It has to pop out of play and cost a run.
  14. Well, yeah, true but it's a big IF since who knows if EE will come back soon enough or wind up like Lawrie getting hurt in his return.
