    I think they'd ask for Sanchez/Stroman +, I'd offer Gose + Nolin + Jenkins but I doubt that gets it done.

    Not true. AA could still sign Choo and Garza. Trade Rasmus for Bailey. Go with Jose at 3B, Lawrie at 2B, Choo in RF, Gose in CF. The other option (which can be left to the deadline) would be to trade players whose deals are up in a year two. That means Melky, Morrow, Janssen, Lind, Rasmus, Happ, Santos and Buehrle would all be shipped out. I don't know if you would call this strategy a rebuild, IMO it's just re-tooling with youth.

    Reed isn't even arb eligible until 2015, he's a superior asset to Santos.

    Sometimes I forget how young you are. 10 pages in university is nothing, especially double spaced, I had 1-4 lab reports due each week that were that long.

    I only hated the Marlins deal (too strong of a word for the Dickey trade and I really wanted the Jays to land him) so they'd probably be sitting pretty with lots of depth in the upper minors and a huge payroll increase on the horizon.

    It impacts Trust's contract negotiations with the LAA, it's tampering.

    It's pretty obvious that Trout's agent will mention the NYY comments in any contract talks. They should've just left it at he's 30yo and we aren't giving any 30yo's a ten year deal.

    At this point he is a far better bet to be Mathis-lite than an above average MLB C. that being said the Dickey trade was a terrible move and I still think d'Armand will pan out.

    I liked Gomes, especially with a complete lack of catching depth in the upper minors. The Esmil trade was horrible.

    It's gone around that the Jays weren't high on d'Arnaud abd don't think he'll stay healthy. AA thought he was selling high.

    I'd do Moore and Myers for EE no doubt. I'm a huge believer in Moore though.
