  1. Drew Hutchson in 2010/2011. People need to stop acting like the Jays are treating Castro as special. He's a good prospect but he isnt extraordinary.
  2. And why do you think you're mature?
  3. You're calling Bautista immature? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
  4. Colon wasn't tied to compensation so what is your explanation there?
  5. So he'd get more than Santana and Colon? I just don't see it, he's a backend guy.
  6. So you honestly think he'd get the same amount as Burnett or Kuroda did last offseason? I don't see any reason to assume that.
  7. He wouldn't receive a QO let alone accept it. He'd get between $8-$12M AAV on a short deal. Similar to what Bronson Arroyo got.
  8. No he wouldn't. He'd be hard pressed to get a QO at this point.
  9. Certainly is not a no doubt to 10 system but you're entitled to your own opinion. FWIW I have them in the 7 - 10 range.
  10. Dickey is worth his contact but he is being paid like he would If he was plucked from tge FA market. You'd use the money saved from Dickey + Rasmus for a guy like Lester.
  11. Pretty low standards Ang. Borderline top 10 system, I wouldn't call that great.
  12. If the plan is to clear payroll and then add in FA the Jays shouldn't move Bau or Edwin as they are on team friendly deals that are a rarity on the FA market. Id look to move one of Buehrle and Dickey moved. Let Rasmus walk. I'd move Hutch, Norris, anyone for the right return. Stanton and Tulo are rumored to be available and I want both!
  13. Natural plus arm speed isn't a negative. He should be trying to use his lower half and he is.
  14. Trying to play off insane arm action as a negative. HUGE positive.
  15. Since his call-up Sanchez has been great, his stuff is nasty and he isn't even throwing his change-up. 22yo. What's not to like?
  16. He's been working hard toget back the arm strength he had pre-missionary trip and his velo is finally back up in to the low 90's which is great to see. Definitely has a shot at a MLB career but at his age he basically a finished product and I'm not sure he is anything more than a backend guy.
  17. Ya but he's really good. I don't think he gets the love he deserves. Way too early for this comp bit he reminds me of Paul Molitor.
  18. Rising: Norris, Pompey, Urena, Barreto, Castro Under the radar: Graveman, Osuna, Smoral, Pentecost, Smith Jr Disappointment: Drabek, Tirado, Davis, Robson, Jimenez
  19. Hes on my radar. Not as high as any of those 3 I listed IMO. Mostly due to age related caveats.
  20. Graveman will be the highest rated of the bunch. All 3 could sneak in to some lists of the author likes their stuff. I doubt any make multiple lists though.
  21. He's on a reasonable contract. Those are some bold statements as well. Not sure they're if you were just being hyperbolic though.
  22. Starlin Castro would be a good fit on the Jays.
  23. Some lists could have 4 this season with; Sanchez, Norris, Hoffman, and Osuna. I could see Graveman and Boyd getting some top 100 love as well.
