Not saying we will or should, but If we ever thought of trading Lawrie I'd contact Seattle, I would see if they would take him for Kyle Seager. Both 3rd basemen, Lawrie's younger by 2 years, and was more highly thought of as a prospect, but Seager's also playing awesome right now and Lawrie's playing crap except for defense.

Not sure if Seattle does it since their park favours lefty hitters over righties. At this point Montero for Lawrie probably seems like the more reasonable offer, maybe add one of the young relievers Seattle has in abundance to make up for positional value (DH vs. 3B).
