  1. Game. Set. /End Thread.
  2. Thanks for that. My wife just walked in and was like um...what are you doing? lol
  3. Me neither. It's possible he thought we only needed 1 run to tie it, he doesn't seem like he would be the greatest at math.
  4. The Ninja with his cliché notebook at the end. Hilarious! http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/jays-score-four-runs-in-the-ninth-to-beat-orioles/
  5. That park is not that bad for lefties actually. And I think they moved in the fences this year for the righties as well. But I agree, I thought Seager would pretty much be replacement level for his career but right now he's already at 4war for 2013.
  6. Cause that's exactly what I said. Forgive me for bringing up a hypothetical scenario to discuss on a discussion board.
  7. Not saying we will or should, but If we ever thought of trading Lawrie I'd contact Seattle, I would see if they would take him for Kyle Seager. Both 3rd basemen, Lawrie's younger by 2 years, and was more highly thought of as a prospect, but Seager's also playing awesome right now and Lawrie's playing crap except for defense. Seager: (2013) .278/.343/.472 6hr 23rbi 15(2b) 1(3b) 19bb 37so (2012) .259/.316/.423 20hr 86rbi 35(2b) 1(3b) 46bb 110so Not sure if Seattle does it since their park favours lefty hitters over righties. At this point Montero for Lawrie probably seems like the more reasonable offer, maybe add one of the young relievers Seattle has in abundance to make up for positional value (DH vs. 3B).
  8. I think he just stopped caring to be honest. He's probably just as jaded as most of us by this point.
  9. If JJ doesn't come back healthy and performing I don't think we'd get good value in a deal. I would just hang onto him and qualify him in the off season. I doubt any team is going to give up a pick for him if he doesn't pitch well, so that probably means he comes back, which is a good thing. I think we could trade a reliever or two since they usually have pretty good value at the deadline. St. Louis is looking for some, maybe we can steal Kolton Wong or Matt Adams from them.
  10. I like Hayhurst he doesnt toe the company line and try to put a positive spin on everything and he's willing to call out the org on questionable decisions.
  11. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lurasidone In clinical studies, lurasidone alleviates positive symptoms (e.g., hallucinations, delusions) without inducing extrapyramidal side effects except for akathisia.
