  1. Plus, IIRC, Reyes had an AB the previous half inning, meaning he was very unlikely to bat again in the game... 100% an ego thing, but at a point that has to matter less. (you are right, often too casually dismissed)
  2. They do, just that the Jays D sucked harder tonight.
  3. Well, at least it's not a 1 run game anymore!
  4. Absolutely, if Goins is on the team, he should be taking over for Reyes late in games.
  5. Source image was large, that's all there is to it. Also, slick catch, Joey!
  6. I'm sure it does, I have yet to find one that doesn't.
  7. Anyone else wigged out by how narrow her tongue is? I mean, definitely hot, but that's a skinny-ass tongue!
  8. Not that I'm complaining, but isn't that just 1 point? Or did Portabello's not count since nobody picked him?
  9. http://www.quickmeme.com/img/79/791d804d4dde100aa1c84dc8dd13b7785d0d71545985aa5c6d2658dab305606c.jpg (I was just going to use a De Niro pic there, but I couldn't resist Scalia - literally 5 words that have never been put together before that...)
  10. Jays really squared up Sale that inning, too bad only one of 'em was a hit (and what a hit!)
  11. I think that homer went higher than it went long...
  12. I'm gunna go with him being first in this scenario...
  13. So, Pillar's homer robbing catch was the second best play that inning...
  14. That was actually a pretty nice play, ball bounced outta the glove when it hit the ground, that's not really his fault. He's usually bad, but that wasn't bad.
  15. 7.11 The players, coaches or any member of an offensive team shall vacate any space (including both dugouts) needed by a fielder who is attempting to field a batted or thrown ball. PENALTY: Interference shall be called and the batter or runner on whom the play is being made shall be declared out. 4.05 (a) The offensive team shall station two base coaches on the field during its term at bat, one near first base and one near third base. ( Base coaches shall be limited to two in number and shall (1) be in team uniform, and (2) remain within the coach’s box at all times. PENALTY: The offending base coach shall be removed from the game, and shall leave the playing field. Rule 4.05 Comment: It has been common practice for many years for some coaches to put one foot outside the coach’s box or stand astride or otherwise be slightly outside the coaching box lines. The coach shall not be considered out of the box unless the opposing manager complains, and then, the umpire shall strictly enforce the rule and require all coaches (on both teams) to remain in the coach’s box at all times. It is also common practice for a coach who has a play at his base to leave the coach’s box to signal the player to slide, advance or return to a base. This may be allowed if the coach does not interfere with the play in any manner.
  16. Oh well, at least the crazy/terrible play shut Tabby the f*** up about Jeter.
