    His MiLB numbers are quite good, and he has a sub 4 career MLB FIP in 105 IP. It's not hard to see a mid-rotation starter, or back end bullpen guy (after his swing man duties are complete this year...)

    I'm not extending Kirk, I'm taking him to the end of his contract (maybe? He could still be an intriguing trade piece) and letting him walk. I wouldn't bet on his body holding up at any position, much less catcher. His knees are going to be SHOT, and it might be before he's even 30.

    08/02/22 Toronto Blue Jays signed free agent RHP Felipe Bello to a minor league contract. Assigned to the DSL Blue Jays, so assuming he's an international sign, not an undrafted free agent. Weird thing on his transactions page shows him being signed by the Jays and the M's.
