    That would be a super weird projection to make on a 24 year old who has a ~4.7 WAR/162 pace so far in his career.

    Going to the game tonight. First time at the Dome in over a decade. Not super thrilled that it's a Kikuchi start, but maybe he'll have one of those ones where he's actually sharp. Also, it would be super nice if the bats f***ing show up (I've heard Springer may be active tonight, so that's good...)

    He clearly has the stuff to be more than a back-end starter, and perhaps with a full spring training to work with him in the pitching lab they could have unlocked more for this year. I'm not sure what it will take to fix him, but we've all seen those flashes where he looks basically unhitable. It's in there somewhere, and I'm assuming they banked on being able to unlock some more consistency there.

    This team seems to really, really hate Nathan Lukes... I doubt he lights the world on fire with his bat, but he can play all three outfield positions, and I'd bet puts up better numbers than Zimmer OR JBJ with the bat...

    And a switch hitter to boot! Also, nobody has made a JBJ signing thread, which shows that the board is mostly people smart enough to realize that the signing isn't remotely threadworthy. As long as he gets as much playing time as Zimmer, I'm good. I worry that his name will get home more starts, even with Schneider.

    Congestive heart failure, and cognitive issues (I'm in a drug study for those issues, and have to take 6 pills a day for my heart now.)
