  1. Yeah, actually... Weird... Their Augusts were pretty similar (by wRC+), Biggio had a better July, Vladdy's had a better September so far.
  2. 0.2 His wRC+ (including today's ABs) is 110, he's been a net benefit to the team, so it would be a loss if he went on the IL. Also, you have to consider that he'd be replaced with someone considerably worse, so y'know.
  3. They are good players. They aren't great players, but literally nobody has claimed that they are. They are perfectly fine acquisitions, and they cost very little in prospect capital. You can not have a team of 25 All Stars. You Sportsnet comment section people are unhappy with every trade that doesn't return the best player in baseball.
  4. Nobody on this team can do anything to get benched.
  5. Nice Fisher. I like 10 runs.
  6. If he can develop a better batting eye, then yeah, he's going to actually be good. I'd like to see more of this before I declare him a "guy with a good eye", but it's been super encouraging of late.
  7. I mean, there simply is never going to be another Halladay. I think Pearson will be absolutely fantastic, and I'm definitely not a naysayer (though like, I haven't seen any serious naysayers about Pearson, just people disappointed w/ his early performance), but suggesting "another Halladay" is just... I mean, so damn unlikely.
  8. Hells yeah, Rowdy!
  9. Don't worry, Chuckles has a feeling that it will all work out...
  10. He's still got a .500 OBP that inning...
  11. When was the last time the Jays batted around?
  12. If he was any good, he'd have pulled that pitch.
  13. The s***** ballpark costs us 4 runs earlier, but just gave us 2 back right there...
  14. Catcher wasn't even prepared to catch it, so nobody to throw to if he did that.
  15. Oh f*** off with that strike call ump.
  16. Alright Joe Panik! (I never thought I'd ever type that...)
  17. Hell yeah LGJ!
  18. Good eye Shaw. Would be really nice if he started heating up.
  19. Nice Rowdy. He's having a hell of a season, I'll be quite happy if I'm proven wrong about him.
  20. Sure thing, your comments on the trade deadlines were, and still are, very stupid. You seem to have mistaken this forum for the Sportsnet comment section.
  21. I feel like the scream is louder/longer on fastballs than it is on breaking balls... Way to tip your pitches. Also, great throw LGJ!
  22. f*** that garbage ballpark. That's a homer in a park with dimensions that aren't the stupidest f***ing thing ever to exist.
  23. Joseph now needs 2 singles to have been more productive than McGuire was all year
  24. Statcast appears to be broken...
  25. Directors of baseball games on TV need to stop getting cute with the "behind the catcher" shot during pitches. Stick with the centre field camera, guys.
