    It looks to me (and this is fully "eye test" stuff here, so I could be wildly wrong) like he's trying to make the plays look flashy, and it's costing him. The physical skills are there, he's getting to the ball, he clearly has the arm to make the throws, but it's just the execution is sloppy. Also, man I'm so glad we didn't trade for Lindor.

    He passes the eye test easily. Made a REALLY nice barehanded play at 3B last night.

    I'm not sure that you can just assume Gurriel would be a better 1B than Vladdy.

    I mean, if Espinal and Panik were a wash, that's one thing, but Espinal is clearly better.

    Yeah, Rowdy CAN be better than this, but at this point, he just looks like every adjustment he made last season went totally out the window.

    No. But I would replace Panik with Espinal, which we should have done to start the year anyway.

    Oh yeah, they're lakefront, and they built a new place when they bought the property, so it's just awesome up there. It would go for a ridiculous price if they sold.

    Yeah, I would NOT want to be entering the market as a first time buyer right now...

    Worked there, no interest in living there (though, there are some AMAZING old houses in Lindsay, but all of them are falling down 'cause nobody bothered to maintain them...)

    Yeah, I worked in Lindsay like 15 years ago (and Peterborough as well, same shop, different locations). We actually were looking at a place in Pontypool for ~900K. It was freaking amazing. I'd love to be in Bobcaygeon or Fenelon Falls.

    I paid $256K for my place 5.5 years ago. You can't get ANYTHING in Oshawa for that these days. If you're super lucky and don't mind being in one of the scummier areas, you MIGHT find a townhouse for $500K here now.

    I didn't see the pitch count, but I can't imagine it's too high... Might as well give him the work.

    We'll get about 4x what my fiance paid for her house (7.5 years ago), and about 3x what I paid for mine (5.5 years ago). We get "we want to buy your house!" things in the mail basically every day, plus people going door to door. It's a completely ridiculous market, and we'll probably end up clearing over $1M after paying off the mortgages.

    My folks live up there, I know the area pretty well. I work from home, and the fiance wants to live somewhere quieter, so it's a pretty easy move to make (particularly when we have 2 houses to sell in Oshawa, where the market is utterly insane right now...)

    I'm actually in a really nice area (between two of the grosser areas) down by the lake. We are planning on moving out of here in the next few years though, probably somewhere in Kawartha Lakes...
