  1. I wouldn't trade mlb ready starting pitching for a rental
  2. well, that's one more guy I wouldn't trade for a rental
  3. I like Hamels more than a rental - he could also cost less talent because of his contract
  4. He smartened up and realized he could be stuck in Philadelphia for three more years
  5. If Boyd looks good I don't understand the point of trading him.
  6. I'd rather see Boyd, just in case he gets traded before I see him pitch
  7. Why is Hendriks coming in?
  8. That's a good looking lineup
  9. Once Sanchez started challenging hitters he looked like a completely different pitcher, the stuff is there.
  10. It's a good thing the Rays didn't with Chris Archer
  11. I don't care about how many guys he walked as a teenager.
  12. You debate by extremeS, here's Syndergaard's line vs the Padres: IP TBF H R ER HR BB SO K/9 BB/9 HR BABIP LOB% GB% HR/FB ERA FIP xFIP 4.0 22 10 7 7 1 0 10 22.50 0.00 2.25 .818 34.9 % 50.0 % 100.0 % 15.75 1.36 -1.54 He gets hit around but has a great fip
  13. It's just as short sighted and stupid to draw conclusions after 66 IP, if we trade every 22 year old who struggles in big leagues we'll never have a decent rotation.
  14. Of course not. But Sanchez averages 6IP per game with an ERA 3.55, he's only 22, under control for 5 more years and he's cheap.
  15. Sorry, I forgot runs aren't important.
  16. Is a few months of Sharkey or Cueto worth as much as five more years of Sanchez? A couple years ago people were talking about giving up Stroman for Sharkey and Sharkey's era is a run higher than Sanchez's.
  17. Sabermetrics, what stats are you evaluating him on? He's only 22 and his era is lower than the guy you want to trade him for.
  18. I wouldn't give that kind of talent away for a rental
  19. How did that work out for the Orioles? Were fourth place in the division, do we really want to overpay on a rental - good starting pitching is hard to find and we keep trading ours away.
  20. Sanchez isn't going anywhere for a rental
  21. Boyd is the most I'd give up for any of those guys. Norris might be just as good as Chapman out of the pen, he's just to valuable for a rental
  22. Do you have premium pitcher in mind?
