  1. but Tulo is taking at bats away from our best hitter Donaldson? Revere should get a chance at leadoff, only John Gibbons would set up the lineup this way.
  2. should Reyes leadoff? They're pretty similar. If your thought process is hitting your best hitter first, shouldn't Donaldson leadoff?
  3. I'm not serious about hitting Tulo in the 8 spot, but Revere holds more value as a leadoff hitter than in the 9 hole. Donaldson's the best hitter on the Jays, should he lead off? Why does Trout hit 3rd instead of 1st. Is it the first watching baseball?
  4. He's been a .300 hitter the last three years, should we bat Tulo 8th because he's struggling?
  5. In the outfield he is, but not at first - he's better than Edwin at first
  6. Colabello, he's got a WRC of 140 second only to Donaldson
  7. Nothing wrong with leading off with Revere
  8. At defense or all around?
  9. Of course, you posted Smoak's 1st base UZR and then posted Colabello's OF UZR. I wouldn't recommend playing Colabello in the OF ever. All I ask is you provide the proper info, we're clearly talking about each players defence at 1st.
  10. I agree Smoak is a better defender, but he has an OBP of .292 compared to Colabello's .367 - 1ST base is a hitters position. Both players have a 0.3 war and Colabello has played the majority of games in the outfield, which have obviously affected his WAR.
  11. Post the real numbers please: Colabello UZR -14.9 Career -1.8 Smoak 8.2 Career 0.6
  12. Smoak WRC 101 Colabello WRC 141
  13. The only guy I hate on this team hasn't played an inning all year, other than Gibby it's pretty positive
  14. It's a waste if Hendriks is the long man, should have kept Doubront for that and sent down Loup.
  15. I agree, they could have went with anyone other than Loup (maybe Cecil) and I've have been happy. But this is the team your battling for the division, Gibby needs to stop being a pussy and throw his best guys. Doesn't matter how rested Osuna and Sanchez are if they don'y make the post season.
  16. The Jays pen is very comparable to the Yankees, the Jays probably have the deeper pen at this point.
  17. There numbers are very similar and if you lose at least you lose with your best guys
  18. Why is handing Sanchez a clean inning horseshit? He has no margin for error - It's stupid trying to get 8 innings out of your starters every game, when you have a good bullpen. He left Buerhle to go 8 yeasterday and he struggled tried to the same with Hutch and he needed pulling as well. If the Jays had a 6 run lead or something fine.
  19. If Sanchez starts the inning they'd never have gotten 3 runs
  20. This game was over if Gibby just went with Sanchez at the beginning of the 8th, Price had already thrown 100 pitches - Gibbons is terrible
