    I don't understand the Cito hate either. When Cito took over for Gibbons in 2008, he posted a of 51-37 record where Gibby was 35-39 with the same team.

    The Jays are 26-7 since making the trade, thats a winning pct of .787. To put that in perspective, the Jays would win a 127 games with a .787 pct - making them the best baseball team of all time. The fact the Jays made up 8.5 games in a month is a miracle.

    Yeah my bad on the Smoak substitution, but still what the hell is he doing bringing in a defensive sub in the 7th with a 1 run lead? I'd take any manager in the leageue over Gibby, I'd even let somebody with no experience try their hand at managing the Jays. For 3 big reasons, he has hit Travis in the 9 hole the majority of the season, using Colabello in the outfield for as many games as he did and now not giving Colabello a fair shot at first.

    Players who consistently make hard contact will generally have higher BABIP than players who make weak contact. The exception being players with speed who can beat out soft infield stuff.

    I wish we would stop seeing a high BABIP as a bad thing. A high BABIP means a hitter is making good contact a putting the ball hard into play - obviously .400 is unsustainable but .310 to .350 isn't out of the question. Miggy's is .415 Goldschimdt is .385

    You're using his outfield UZR why? His career UZR at first is -1.8. Do people actually believe that Colabello is terrible at first? Was nobody watching last nights game? Colabello will soon be the starting first baseman, you heard it here first.
