  1. Didn't take him long to get hungry, he was tossed in the second inning
  2. Oh yeah he stinks as an outfielder, but he's a first basemen. Put Smoak in the field and he'll likely be s*** too. Colabello's offensive war is 8.9 Smoak offensive war 2.0
  3. The player who offers the most value should play and at the moment that's Colabello
  4. I don't know, but I'd rather start small then wind up with a Ricciardi like GM again.
  5. He's played well enough that when were back to full strength, he should be playing ahead of Smoak
  6. You work your way up - what's the harm with firing Gibby?
  7. You don't fire the President and GM first.
  8. So you agree that the club hasn't been good, but you don't agree with changing anything?
  9. Sanchez hasn't even played a full season in the majors. Gibby's underperformed the last two years
  10. I'm surprised you love Gibby so much, for a guy who tries to pick apart Sanchez on every small detail.
  11. Offensively Navarro is negative WAR and has been his whole career
  12. Can't fire him in the middle of a win streak, but his time is up
  13. God damnit do I ever respect you right now... but I also think your an idiot.
  14. Sanchez almost threw a complete game shut out, with just a fastball
  15. Guy can't even throw a no-hitter... send him down
  16. The pitching is s***, but Goins, Valencia, Colabello, Carrera, and Pillar have been pretty good.
  17. I agree that Gibbons isn't the biggest problem, but he is step 1. Firing Gibby doesn't involve trading away personnel, it's an easy way to shake things up without doing anything stupid. He's underperformed the last two years and is struggling again this year. I don't understand this love affair with Gibby, he's had fair opportunity and now someone else should get a opportunity.
  18. Getting some good prospects for EE and Bautista is a good thing.
  19. He's had two full seasons now and we consistently drop close games, we could fire Gibby and be worse. But there's nothing to lose by firing him and maybe there's a reason Gibby was managing in AA.
  20. Nothing Gibby did in the 7th made any sense
  21. That would have been nice, but I wish we would fire Gibby. What's the worst that could happen?
  22. Do they pull the infield in? Prbably not - so maybe Colabello scores on the groundout
  23. They would never pitch around Martin to get EE, so if saying the better hitter is Martin he gets his at bat anyway
