The quick erosion of ump quality we are seeing HAS to be a systematic problem from the top-down. These umps are clearly butt hurt they aren't players and are crow-barring themselves into the game no matter what. I remember being an RA in University and seeing how a tiny bit of power could make someone a complete *******. That's what this is.

This may be an armchair QB type of question but: what do you think we could have gotten for Romero in 2011? I'm pretty sure we can't offload him now at his most broken part of his career, but I was just curious as to what you guys thought his trade value was over the last couple of seasons.
