  1. Sorry sometimes I go M.I.A from this board. Best way to get a hold of me in Email or PM me on Proboads.
  2. Was not overly comfortable with this trade I though about a long time and I think Boxy was getting a little antsy because I kept him waiting for so long. I just figured I could get what I want at #5 and it is not really and big upgrade over Walker but a huge upgrade at what I have at Util. Right now. Maybe not the right call but no regrets.
  3. They are still likely looking for one of Stroman or Sanchez plus a couple over minor league pieces. They are not going to sell him off for nothing. I think we are better off going the Jimenez or Garza route and keeping Stroman for the middle of the year and then Sanchez for middle of next year.
  4. I would prefer the 23rd as a cut down date but I could make the 16th work.
  5. What are you trying to scare me.
  6. They needed to sign a pitcher because I think their only chance is by winning low scoring games. I think there offence is probably one of the bottom 2 in the division. If their rotation gets hit by the injury bug they could be in trouble.
  7. $25 would actually really good value. Its $25M that I would really hate giving up
  8. There is no way I make that deal for over almost 25M per year for a pitcher that is not MLB proven. Is he going to be a cy candidate this year. I would bet my left nut that he won't be. Will he be solid....probably. Still not worth the money.
  9. A little off topic has there been any news on Pineda?

    NHL Thread

Looks like there is one hell of a game taking shape for Saturday. I am personally excited for it. I could even smell and avatar bet in the making lol. Have not had one of those in a long time lol.
  11. Seems about right. Surprised there is an opt out in the deal.
  12. Your going to be run over by that train. Bring down your expectations.
  13. Someone should ask Kevin Grey where this mother f***er will sign. I mean he had the inside scoop on Yu Darvish didn't he..........
  14. Wilner does not know common sense. He just read from someone else that he would have to sign tomorrow lol.
  15. M's need him after the Cano signing if they have any hope of winning. They also show they are not to concerned about long term deals. I am betting on the M's

    NFL Thread

Come on I don't know how anyone can cheer against Manning. The guy is probably the most loveable guy in sports other than maybe Moooooney
  17. However I could see the Jays doing something like that. AA needs to win now to save his Ass so why not offer him a 7 year deal with an opt out after 3. Basically the same thing that Burnett had.
  18. Should let the Wife have my DDL password maybe she could make hay of the s*** I got lol.
  19. I think what this thread has taught us that in our Wills we should state our username and password so that our significant others or mothers for some of you can come on to this site and enlighten us about the death. That way we can have a proper grieving period lol.
  20. I got a good little chuckle over Astros 126 odds lol.
  21. I am getting some offers for the first overall pick in the MILB draft. Not saying I am for sure going to sell it but for the right price it could persuade me to give it up.
  22. Delmon Young has had some good Playoff years Great player that guy.
  23. To be honest I think a lot of people under estimated what the cost of pitchers would be. You look at what Vargas and even Phil Hughs got. I would not have guessed they would have got those kind of contracts. But I guess you got to anticipate that.
  24. I'm just saying it probable. Something like "Crafty Farrell" would do when he was still in Toronto lol. I don't think it would work either but I could see a manager or 2 trying it.
  25. I don't know I was thinking about this too. I would say until the next pitch is thrown. He may be able to go out talk to the ump for a bit until they see a replay but it is more or less going to be a gut call or an important part of the game I would say. I don't see many opposing stadiums throwing up a replay so the other manager can see it.
