Right now we are a contending team and we need to get him right. If that means a week or so in AAA to tweak his delivery and get him back on track then that is what they have to do.... Kudos to AA and Gibby for making this tough call. Never easy to send a vet to the minors for tinkering. Hopefully he comes back as good as last season.

Bingo! Ignore Shark Ignore Price. Don't We could build a cheap rotation out of Stro, Hutch, Norris and Sanchez(hoping he cuts down the walks). Not so high on Nolin. That is how the Cardinals are contenders year after year. We have a good chance to make the playoffs with the team we have right now. I don't see selling 2 top pitching prospects as a make or break for the season.

I am going to throw this out there as a Rental player..... Asdrubal Cabrera, Early in his career (2008) he played a lot of games at 2nd before going over to SS. Now I believe he is as good as gone from Cleveland with Lindor knocking at the door. He should provide you solid D and a Bat with some pop and can take a walk. Should defiantly be an upgrade to running Francisco out to third. Just a idea for a guy who is likely to get dealt this year anyways.

I'm not sure it makes me think so because last week the word was putting him on the DL for rest and fixing his mechanics. If he did have options i could see them just sending him down.

I mean Jenkins has been soooo good lately. Does that mean that maybe Delabar takes that time off to work on his delivery and give him a rest. Bullpen has been solid lately without him. Might not be a bad idea.

Tolleson has proved to be a great bench player and can play both IF/OF. And i don't cringe whenever he comes to the plate. Ideal scenario is keep both him and Muni on this team IMO.

Thats what i am thinking. Rasmus probably back tomorrow i was thinking one of the catchers going down and having a bench like: Kratz(Thole likely), Gose, Muni/Tolleson, Francisco. It is really hard to keep 3 catchers on a 25 man roster.

I know i don't want to give that up either. But thats what they will be asking. I would rather go with a cheaper rental player. Then have those guys make an impact in a year or 2 possibly.
