I agree with your analysis. They will trade Rasmus likely but all they will get back is a .500 or so pitcher. Defense will only be slightly improved. Every team in the East will be better again.

They look bad tonight but overall Rays have only made 56 errors second best in all of MLB. Toronto on the other hand has made an abysmal 109 which is the 4th worst in MLB.

Would make very little difference with those players in there, they have been playing better without them

The Jays have been horrible all year at the fundamentals and throwing the ball around, missing cut off men etc. It doesn't surprise me that they would hit one of their own players in the eye
