    Yeah. Kratz is awesome. I just hate Navarro so much. Ideally, Kratz would replace Thole and we would pick up someone like Rivera who looks to have some potential with the bat with plus D This would be hard to do midseason though. More of an off season kinda move.

    I could see them having interest in Pillar. Denorfia will probably leave in FA and Pillar could fill that role on the cheap next year.

    Welcome to the board! I wonder if Rene Rivera could be had. They have Yasmani Grandal at catcher. We would have to get rid of the fatty though, i guess it's doubtful we do that mid season.

    He's defenitly not my #1 choice due to the combination of health concerns and performance but i don't think i would say it would be the 'dumbest' move we could make. Especially given the likely low acquisition cost.

    Headleys health worries me - especially since he would be moving to turf. He at least has shown he can still play an above average 3rd base - but that would mean Lawrie would have to shift over to second for the rest of the year basically. Too much of a SSS to really say how good of a 2nd base he can play. Headleys BABIP is at a career low at a 268 clip. So i guess there's some hope he can improve on his 84 wRC+. Only way i due a deal though is if we expand the trade to include Ian Kennedy and Chris Denorfia also. This would pretty much fill all our holes.
