Is Francisco's bat worth having him play defense everyday at 3rd? not to mention pushing lawrie over to 2nd which he did not seem to pleased about to begin with.

Even with all you mentioned above, the Jays need so much to go right for them to qualify for the playoffs. With this current roster I just don't see it happening -

Really can't afford to lose Melky for an extended period of time, hopefully see him back in the lineup by the end of the weekend.

My gut tells me that Happ will get a start, even though he's been terrible since spring(and even when he returned last year) I think AA will give me a shot before making any decisions regarding his future with the team.

Thankfully I didn't watch this game, would have been very depressing to watch the bullpen blow up again. I agree with ElNik2013 that Gibbons isn't helping out the relief pitchers is only bringing them in when a starter has gotten himself into trouble.

Even with McGowan's good start against the royals, do we still bring up Stroman and send McGowan to the pen to help them out? its not like anyone in the pen is really pitching all that well these last couple weeks...

I'm with you on this, Love McGowan and I wish him all the best and hope he does well. On the other hand I am very excited to see what Stroman can do if/when he is called up.

I agree with this statement, I cant see any way this teams contends baring a miracle to the rotation and an upgrade at 2nd base. Bautista, Reyes, Dickey, and Buehrle need to be traded while they still have some value.

I have to admit I was one of the very few who thought he would be at least decent as a 9 hitter who would have great defense. After watching his AB's through the season so far its very clear he is in over his head and a change needs to be made somehow. Whether that be Kawaski(most likely), Diaz, or Drew (I wish).
