  1. I'm waiting for the lines to be released on the Jays-Rangers series. If the Jays are the underdogs I'm all over that s***.
  2. ...and he was playing 1B last night as well as quite often for the past few weeks.
  3. Just saying, 91 votes and pretty much unanimous (now 95). Whether you agree with the decision or not (I voted he won't be as well), it really does have a Putin feel to it. Like some butthurt Orioles fans trolling the board or something. That, or the consensus is that jimcanuck started a really awful poll.
  4. Here are the lines my sportbook is giving me for the AL Pennant and World Series winners. Lines for the AL Pennant: Boston Red Sox +150 Cleveland Indians +325 Texas Rangers +200 Toronto Blue Jays +300 Lines for the World Series: Boston Red Sox +500 Chicago Cubs +200 Cleveland Indians +800 Los Angeles Dodgers +650 New York Mets +1600 San Francisco Giants +1800 Texas Rangers +650 Toronto Blue Jays +600 Washington Nationals +800 The Jays are getting a surprising amount of respect with the third best odds for winning the World Series, just behind Chicago and Boston. Especially relative to the AL Pennant winners. What I find interesting is that Texas increases from +200 to +650 and Boston increases from +150 to +500 when going from AL Pennant to World Series winners, but the Jays only increase from +300 to +600. I guess the betting community thinks the Jays match up well to the Cubs? Or maybe it's just an arbitrage opportunity that will correct itself with time.
  5. Loving the rigged anonymous poll results. 87 of 91 votes saying no lol
  6. Never. We need him to stay in Baltimore like a circus needs its clown.
  7. I think it was pre-made, you know, just in case.
  8. The other key difference being Liriano was brought in after Osuna was already used.
  9. Over the past couple of months Ubaldo pitched as well as Britton according to him
  10. Let's be fair...if Britton is in the 9th, chances are Ubaldo is still pitching in the 11th.
  11. He could have at least said he was expecting the game to go 17 innings and wanted the starter to pitch 5...at least save SOME face.
  12. Well...when you phrase it like that, he sounds kind of dumb doesn't he?
  13. LOL BTS will be pleased with Showalter's comments. "Saving him for a save situation"
  14. If the juice is what's been helping them win, keep doing it.
  15. This gif needs to be updated with THIS home run.
  16. The younger generation's Mitch Williams.
  17. Britton must have pulled a muscle or something
  18. It is if you want to keep Bautista's bat in the line up while improving your defense in a tight lead scenario late in the game. Anyways, I'm kind of picking at straws because I'm pumped for 3-4 hours from now. Let's hope the Jays win this 8-0 and none of this nitpicking will matter.
