    You can still trade players not on the 40 man roster. Ax pitched well enough to deserve an opportunity. First Rowdy, now Ax....we should be building up some credits with the Brewers. I hope Ax pitches well for them.

    The big disadvantage of the Wild Card is you have to use your best starter and even if you win you might need 4 starters because the next series starts right away. I feel pretty good about Manoah battling in the playoffs. Kid just seems to thrive off the moment. This is going to be an exciting 2 months.

    He gets it up to 94 95 with the 4 seam. He throws a lot of 2 seamers to get movement and he lives with the slider, which is really good.

    They could have got rid of Story and Marquez revamped their farm. The losses would have started to mount this year and next. Why get the 6th or 7th pick in the draft when top 3 or 4 picks are within your grasp this year and next. They have zero chance over the next two years.

    Absolutely for Hiraldo. I'm guessing they are asking a ridiculous price. Seems like Bryant and Story have to go in the last 14 minutes though.

    The prices being paid are ridiculous. It's almost unfathomable to think that they wouldn't trade him. If any team could screw this up it's the Rockies. They could actually not move Story and end up getting a comp pick for him instead..lol.

    It's a very different environment trading a player who says I'm only willing to go to 2 teams. Scherzer had all the control. For all we know he said I'm only willing to go to the Dodgers.
