    bass was a nice pick up...he's probably not a closer. Still, Charlie didn't even send Walker out to give him a rest in an inning he threw 30 pitches. After the walk to bring the tying run to the plate, he could have taken him out, but at the very least he should have given him a rest.

    Borucki has a .95 xFIP. Maybe we should find a way to get a guy who's struck out 9 batters through 4 innings a few more innings. Nope let's bring in Cole to almost give up a 2 run homer.

    We're 5 and 8 not 8 and 5. This game is very important. 2 runs is not a safe lead. Ryu topped out at 116 pitches last year. We got lucky with Dolis. 2 balls hit hard could have easily lead to runs.

    Dolis had 2 balls crushed. I trusted Ryu a lot more than Dolis in the 7th. Ryu didn't have to finish the 7th. We're ultra conservative.

    4th start of the year one run 2 hits 7Ks.....He's not a young kid you want to build confidence. He's a horse you want to ride. Terrible decision.

    They've completely misused Borucki. There's been a few times he should have been brought or left longer this season and wasn't. He's pitched 4 innings and has 9 strike outs. Maybe we should get him some more innings.

    He threw 135.2 in 16, 150.1 in 17 and 174.2 in 18. He had injury issues last year and early in his minor league days. He's still only 26 years old.

    For whatever reason, they don't think Borucki is very good. Someone should explain to charlie Borucki has struck out 9 through 4 innings and only allowed one hit and no runs.
