    I just went for ice cream and listening to Wilner on the radio he said there was just light rain now and he thought they'd get it going again.

    Robben was an amazing player. Somehow my wife's boss got me wrapped up in the following West Brom. I'm trying to get him to at least pay attention to the Canadian national team. We have a real shot at qualifying for 2022.

    Went to 2 games. Werder Bremen were champions the year I was there(Kiwi Wynton Rufer!). They barely avoided relegation this year. I mean Bayern has always been good, but back in the 90s it wasn't a given they would win the league. That said, seeing young Alphons Davies start for Bayern and absolutely destroy Barcelona was nice to see!

    Cool. I lived just south of Bremen for a year. My biggest regret is not going to Amsterdam.

    I think it was a 40 year old bowmore we bought for my brother's 50th. He offered me a drink we he finally cracked it when all the family was together. I opted for a beer..lol.

    It's crazy tight across the league. When you have teams that you thought would be cellar dwellers with above .500 records what does that mean for the trade deadline in 16 days!

    This seemed quite concerning to me until I looked at his stats and realized he's only had 68 plate appearances. I checked his 2nd half hot streak to see if it was as lucky as this one, but his walk rate was 10% which was above his career average. Teoscar isn't likely a 50% above average hitter. He came into the year just a tick above league average. It is possible he's 15 to 20%+ above league average, which is just fine with me.

    How about that Rowdy Tellez kid. The shaved dome is treating him well.

    He had bone spurs that they didn't find right away last year and had a procedure to clean that up. 2016 to 2018 he was healthy and pitched progressively more innings each year. When I see Borucki I see a lot more upside than a back end starter. He was pretty good in 2018 and he's a completely different pitcher now. His velocity is up a lot, he has a new cutter/slider and his change up was always a plus pitch. He may have gone from 1 plus pitch in 2018(his change up) to 3 plus pitchers..he could be a very good number 2. Any pitcher is at risk of Tommy John every year. You have to maximize value. His ceiling isn't a number 5. It's much higher.

    They stretched him out in the summer camp. Those days were literally a month ago! How is it possible you can't consider what he would do as a starter. When he misses, he misses off the plate. He rarely leaves anything over the middle and he has 3 good pitches!

    I'd use him in innings 1 through 6 if it was me!

    We have Chris Sale pitching low leverage situations.....We might want to get Borucki a few more innings in tight spots. He'd probably be a good guy for the 10th inning!

    Rowdy....keep it going big guy. Nice to see Grichuk get one. He was long overdue.
