I don't particularly care, 'cause this is the internet; but was that comment necessary?
I assume forums are to share opinions and have discussions about them. I shared my opinion, not sure why finding something not-classy (albeit I am in general okay with homerun celebrations that have nothing to do with bat flipping the opponent's dugout, and mind you nor am I a yankee sympathizer) is a parameter for evaluating intelligence. I have not gone personal about it, and yet here's an insult as if Rasmus was your kindred and I offended you by indicating what he did was borderline meh.
Also I am not archaic, 25 years old; so I am not sure what the norm has been since the inception of the game itself.
I am not saying "don't celebrate after scoring", I am saying "why be such a pompous prick doing it".
What isn't going into the dugout, cheering out of your mind and doing all these ridiculous dances enough? Or rounding the bases in a slow, deliberate fashion, high-fiving your coaches and sending flying recognition kisses to your fans too small of a show?
I mean Rasmus did all of that. I guess he needs to celebrate more, might as well go piss on the Empire State Building, cause yolo! I hit a HR!
