Petriello's article on Vlad is pretty much on point: https://www.mlb.com/news/vladimir-guerrero-jr-needs-to-adjust-to-pitchers The umps definitely didn't help with expanding the low/away zone against him early on but it has gotten better now, so I hope Vlad continues to adjust. -

Mets with an unreal comeback against the Giants due to some questionable defense. Scoring 7 to lead 11 - 8 against Giants top of 8th. --- Giants then tie the game on Joc's 3 run Bomb (3rd HR of the night for him), 11-11, bottom of 8th

Red Sox 16 - 3 against White Sox, scoring 90+ runs in their last 10 games. Absolute monsters right now. Their next games? 2x WSox, 5x Orioles (like wtf?), 2x Reds, 2x Athletics. They are going to climb standings very quickly in the AL East; at least the Yanks/Rays beat each other up a bit.

Was a great game; lots to be excited about. Daunting 4 games coming up with Angels and then WSox & Twins (before we finally get some breathing room); we need to come out of that unscathed and keep improving the patience/hitting of this team.

yup, they are unreal - their top 5 are just carrying superhard. I know we are winning and taking better ABs (especially Vlad) but we're still 2 for 11 with RISP. Lets just get the W though.
