  1. Stripling wants to just make everyone forget the firing even happened; man is just on a mission to destroy Phillies tonight lol
  2. Oh haha, fair; was just movie references.
  3. He was sitting on that fastball, damn. Stripling was perfect through 3.2 IP.
  4. Omagawd, a steal by Tapia, FINALLY. Play the f***ing small ball!
  5. MANUFACTURE RUNS! MAKE THE DEFENSE MAKE THE PLAY. cf
  6. Schneider did them when Charlie was the manager
  7. A successful hit and run?! what is this black magic.
  8. lol Reds just went back-to-back-to-back against Severino; 4 - 0 Reds.
  9. Also Stripling: 29 pitches, 22 strikes
  10. lol Reds just went back-to-back-to-back against Severino; 4 - 0 Reds.
  11. Springer gave it a ride, and nice play to retire Bo.
  12. Ait Kevin's daughter is super cute and that was a great first pitch.
  13. Bo: We needed a change, and this was the easiest lever for them to pull. Siddall: The manager pays the price for underperformance 'cause that's just how it is, but literally everyone should be looking at themselves in the mirror, from the GM to the analytics depts to the coaches to the players Santiago: First thing I did was text him, it's sad news Springer: Hey well, hope his family is good, it is what it is, we got a game tonight (I missed what Gurriel said)
  14. --- Lets go Jays! Schneider will have the luxury of handing the ball to one of his most reliable starters in Ross Stripling. As noted, the right-hander has shined since joining the rotation permanently. He has lowered his expected ERA to 4.17 and has been using an effective changeup much more. That said, he is still allowing opponents to hit for a .286 expected batting average. Not many are hitting off Zack Wheeler on the other hand. The right-hander is pitching to a 2.74 xERA, limiting opponents to a .229 batting average, and striking out nearly 10 batters per nine innings this season. He’ll stare across at a talented but inconsistent Blue Jays lineup. Over the last 10 games — where the Jays are just 2-8 — they have topped three runs just three times and rank a mediocre 16th in OPS.
  15. Royals save 830k USD for all the players not coming over to Toronto and instead going on Restricted List.
  16. Holy s***, that list. Taylor, Singer, Keller, Dozier, Melendez, Merrifield, Benintendi. What the f***. Thank God Barlow is not on that list; a prime target for us
