    Montoyo's usages have made no sense. It's like this is house league baseball with angry parents and he's trying to get every kid to get his turn to play. In a 60 game season we don't need to see Gaviglio and Alford in the opening series.

    It's 16 teams so there are no byes. Top 2 teams in each division plus two wildcards. I believe I read the 3 division winners pick schoolyard style who they play against in a best of 3 first round. Higher seed gets home field for the full series

    I know this won't be a popular opinion but I like it for this season. It's more baseball, making it after 60 games wasn't conventional anyways. Plus a greater chance for the Jays, which for us here is pretty f***in sweet

    I think the Pirates and the City of Pittsburgh we're welcoming the Jays with open arms and looking forward to boosting the North Shore economy. If they had it their way the Jays would be playing there. Unfortunately it was left up to Gov. Wolf who decided to be a huge bitch

    It was 1 year, does that mean the other 4 don't count? Steamer projects 0.7 in 47 games which is 2.1 WAR across 141. Right in line with what the Jays are paying for. He doesn't need to "significantly exceed" the contract's value for it to be successful
