    Seems like a pretty reasonable deal. Espinoza could be a superstud and is very young but his results haven't been overwhelming or anything this year. This makes Boston better and they shed a pitching prospect, keeping the two position player prospect beasts they own.

    It's incredible how many pitchers the Blue Jays have traded away that are major leaguers or have a good shot to be. Syndergaard, DeSclafani, Hoffman, Musgrove, Sam Dyson, Henderson Alvarez, Justin Nicolino, Daniel Norris, Matt Boyd, Kendall Graveman, Miguel Castro, Jesus Tinoco, Chase De Jong And drafted but not signed: Aaron Nola, James Paxton, Phil Bickford, Brady Singer, Tyler Beede Obviously some of those did-not-signs turned into other good players and a good return was seen on some of those traded away but it's amazing the pitching talent that has slipped away. Everyone here knows this of course, but it's still shocking when you list the names.

The best part was when he criticized sabermetrics for not taking bus ride length and hours of sleep into account then tried to lampoon advanced stats by suggesting that "they" will come up with a statistic specifically for fifth innings of Wednesday day games, or whatever he said.
