  1. what do you think the odds are that a movie from 26 years ago predicts the winner of the 2015 World Series thus ending the 107 year drought? http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--e8xqJkrd--/c_fit,fl_progressive,q_80,w_320/18k2phyzpgvoijpg.jpg
  2. you could probably blame Godfrey on this one for the V.Wells contract.
  3. He is our #5. he's been good.
  4. hard to imagine that with the Offense the Jays have had this year, they would be last in the MLB in IBB with 6. on the flip side it is nice to see that we are currently 4th in the MLB in walks with 383, only 11 behind the lead.
  5. nice little image from the last 2 weeks http://pbs.twimg.com/media/CMTLtyWVAAE7qL5.jpg
  6. they've said already that Hutch gets the start vs the Yanks on Sunday due to his last start.....Dickey will be available on short rest though if things were to change.
  7. yes there is still about 7.5 weeks to go until the season is officially done but this will be a hot topic. http://espn.go.com/blog/sweetspot/post/_/id/61606/al-mvp-race-heats-up-between-mike-trout-josh-donaldson .....Since Tulowitzki played his first game for the Toronto Blue Jays, Donaldson -- batting behind Tulo in the lineup -- has been on fire, hitting .353/.480/.863 with seven home runs, five doubles and 15 RBIs in 13 games. This hot streak has suddenly turned the American League MVP race into a two-way battle between Donaldson and Mike Trout: Donaldson: .294/.362/.572, 31 HR, 83 RBI, 82 R, +9 Defensive Runs Saved, 6.2 WAR Trout: .301/.394/.605, 33 HR, 69 RBI, 78 R, +3 Defensive Runs Saved, 7.0 WAR The WAR number is closer at FanGraphs, where Trout leads 6.5 to 6.2.....
  8. i'd embed this video if i could..... Jays / Yankees - Minions
  9. 67 pitches through 6 complete.....who is this guy we have on the mound today???
  10. one game at a time....just saying how the season will end up lol
  11. Tues is scheduled as Graveman vs Hutch Wed is scheduled as Brooks vs Buehrle Thurs is scheduled as Gray vs Dickey And vs Gray earlier in the year it isn't like he shut us down as you are making it out.
  12. its baseball....s*** happens.
  13. if we finish the season 29-20, that gives us a record of 90-72. ya no. 34-15 is what i see minimum with a record of 95-67, if not better. we play: Yankees - 10 (8 wins) Orioles - 7 (4 wins) Rays - 6 (4 wins) Red Sox - 6 (5 wins) Tigers - 3 (2 wins) Indians - 3 (2 wins) Angels - 3 (1 win) Rangers - 3 (2 win) Athletics - 3 (3 wins) Phillies - 2 (2 wins) Braves - 3 (1 win)
  14. i think the Yankees will slip right out. we play them 10 more times and i see us taking 8 or 9 of 10. That, along with Oriole wins, vaults them. The Yankees have been playing over their heads thus far and they will be crashing down to earth here fairly quick. The sweep at the hands of out boys in blue over the weekend puts them in a funk.
  15. Here is how the end of the season will look: ALE: Jays ALC: KC ALW: LAA WC1: HOU WC2: BAL Jays will have the best record in the AL Orioles will win the WC playoff this will lead to a Jays / Orioles ALDS
  16. playoffs you only need 4 starters. Price Dickey Stroman & Estrada Buehrle for Stroman, you could piggy back him with Estrada until he gets his stamina up. Once he regains his strength, you put Estrada in the pen. As for Hutch? the way he has pitched this year, he hasn't yet earned even one playoff start.
  17. the August 31st deadline is the 25 man roster for the ALDS. after the ALDS you again make your 25 man roster for the ALCS and then again a 25 man for the WS.
  18. Jays / Orioles ALDS or ALCS would be awesome.
  19. September/October will be quite the finish approaching the playoffs.... Yankees: 7 games Orioles: 7 games Rays: 6 games Red Sox: 6 games out of our final 31 games, only 5 (2 vs Indians and 3 in Atlanta) are outside of our division. here is to alot of http://i.giflike.com/9BZltjG.gif and http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/4th.gif in the next 7 weeks.
  20. http://i.giflike.com/9BZltjG.gif
  21. going into this game we were 17-22. since this game we are 44-30. not too shabby.
