I'm just very frustrated, not giving up on them. When I see pitchers doing the exact same thing and pitching guys using the exact same pattern, I expect Seitzer to start showing tape and say "hey look, they're doing the EXACT same thing over and over again to you, so start looking for and recognizing these patterns." That seems logical to me. For instance, Bautista has stood there and watched first pitch breaking ball strikes a lot recently. So why not sit on that pitch instead of the fastball and offer at it? They keep offering Encarnacion fastballs off the plate inside and soft stuff away, so why not lay off the inside fastballs and extend out over the plate and start hitting that beaking ball up the middle instead of rolling over and hitting weak ground balls to his pull side. Like I said, it's glaringly obvious that the proper adjustments aren't being made and to me, that's acceptable for a week at the longest. This is carrying on to the point where it's bordering on incompetence or poor coaching.
