  1. LOL, you're a first class winner aren't you now buddy?
  2. Baltimore hasn't been anything to write home about this season, neither has anyone else in the A.L East cept us.
  3. Seem to be proud of quoting another user using the word RETARD? And of course, he's even more proud and thanking you for it! Try and be more compassionate to those who have loved ones who are mentally handicapped?
  4. Over 13 WHOLE starts? Now there's a sample size to base an argument on....
  5. Hughes has pitched well so far this year? But he hasn't been very good career, considering he pitched on a high octane team like the yanks. With a career ERA of 4.5 and a WHIP of 1.3, I wouldn't exactly call him anything to write home about neither.
  6. I don't think this team is a playoff contender at all. I like their offense, but their pitching is bound to come crashing back to earth hard. Hutch hasn't put one single solid start in at home and other than Mark, this team doesn't have a starter you can depend on to go more than 6. If they want to contend whatsoever, they need a front end starter like that guy from the Cubs with the ladt name I can't pronounce. This team is prone to long losing streaks when the offense sputters, just as they arfe to long winning streaks when it's hot.
  7. Tolleson is useless, other than a few hits his first few games, he looks completely overmatched by just about everyone he faces.
  8. I think it's funny that when people make some completely normal baseball observations, you get people running around screaming about knee jerk reactions.
  9. I'd just like to see more consistency. They seem to live and die by the home run and when the other teams adjust to that, you're going to be prone to getting your ass beat on a regular basis. They have to make the adjustment in return and manufacture more runs when the home run isn't there to save them.
  10. That's true but you miss my point. They didn't just lose 3 out of four, they were SHUTOUT 3 out of 4 by mediocre MLB pitchers and if it weren't for Edwins home run, it could've very well been 4 in a row.
  11. When you start getting shutout by mediocre pitchers, and mediocre at best, three of the last 4 games, it's alarming. Especially when you hear everyone bragging about how big and bad our lineup is. If it weren't for that 1 homerun by Encarnacion, we'd have 1 run in our last 4 games and that was driven in by a guy we just sent down
  12. Exactly, you see ANY other pitcher hanging pitches letter high to ML hitters and you either end up in the seats or in a gap somehwere. With these guys, they're all just either swinging through it or hitting weak fly balls. A bad combination when your pitcher throws a meatball over the plate with 2 strikes, and sure enough, their guy doesn't misss
  13. He has also only pitched 7 innings once in those ten games. His WHIP is 1.4 and the stats show that second and third time through, he is nowhere even close to being a MLB calbre pitcher.
  14. If they're going to let a pitcher go out there and frustrate people by throwing 100 pitches every 4 innings, why not let it be Drabek? At least he has a possible MLB career.
  15. I say they let him pitch until his velocity dips below 85
  16. That's all he had to do 20 pitches ago. Is there one single person here who would let this guy start a single game for his team. He's one of the worst pitchers I've ever seen in my life.
  17. LOL, that's where i was snapping a bit. The plays that should end games that aren't being made. Reyes did it last week so when Tolleson did it again I was like "oh f***, here we go" and sure enough, s*** imploded. But that's what dictates sports, you see it all the time, if you don't finish s*** off when you should, it comes back to bite you in the ass.
  18. Good post man. I see a lot of this exact type of s*** when I read that other board. It makes you wonder if these people are actually all there. I don't like Dickey, but like I said, I think I've expected too much of him. But I don't wish the guy dead. But I do get frstrated when he implodes in just about every 6th inning and Gibby constantly leaves him in and the result is almost always the same. Lately he has gotten him out in time and it has turned out OK. But yeah, wishing people to die in bus accidents and s*** is a tad over the top. But your points are well taken, with me anyways.
  19. Fair enough dude, you make some good points again that I agree with. I don't expect much out of Pillar and I wouldn't have been surprised to see him ground into a DP in that situation, but that's about the only comment I made. I do think it was a bad decision to dive for that ball as well, but I'm not about to cuss out him and his family as a result, I just think he should know better in that situation. Keeping the guy out of scoring position is almost an automatic.
  20. I personally don't expect 9 gold glovers, but I do expect routine plays to be made, especially with 2 outs and the game on the line in the bottom of the ninth when the pitcher has done his job and induced the third out. Blowing a routine play like that is hard to swallow, especially when the team loses one game and gives themselves the chance to lose another a week later. Sure the timing amplifies it, but I just can't find an excuse for it no matter what way I look at it.
  21. I've always thought that if you don't like what somebody is saying, you just shake your head and chalk it up to "idiocy" or so you say. Responding makes you? Oh, never mind.....
  22. Ya, cos expecting MORE from a guy who is 0-7 with RISP is out of the question? LMFROFLMAO
  23. I think some people mistake "bipolar" for overly passionate. Bi polar is that DJBluray guy on the "other" board who can't tell his ass from his face.
  24. I see your point to a degree, but when you've got guys not making routine plays with 2 outs in the ninth and the game on the line? WTF do you expect? Because I expect that type of thing to happen once in a season, if that, not twice in a week.
