    tulo has been better defensively this year over Goins. And actually has a history of knowing how to hit. If he all of a sudden had a 850 ops next year no one would really be too surprised. If goins did that there would be articles on fangraphs. Tulo is still our best option at SS

    Getting Teo for Liriano and $$ is a huge win. Easily worth an A. This is a guy no one would have ever expected us to get in a million years for Liriano. Maybe for Happ but not Liriano. Super legit prospect in a position of need who's ready now for mlb at bats

    Should an ump really be able to throw players out for complaining about balls and strikes though? players should be thrown out for being abusive or delaying the game. Who cares if players are arguing with you - it doesn't interfere with your ability to do your job at all. Just call the plays. We're all just trying to watch a ball game and throwing out the starting pitcher and catcher so scrubs can come in ruins the whole game. Just so one guy doesn't have to listen to whining any more. If players want to be cry babies let them. If they start getting verbally abusive then you can throw them out.

    Crediting the starting pitcher with the win is retarded. It's a team sport, of which the starting pitcher is but one of around 13 players to be involved in the game at any time. Naming this stat "win" is the only reason anyone cares about it at all. If it had a more appropriate name like "game where starter held the lead when he left the game then the rest of the team didn't blow that lead" no one would give a s*** about it due to the completely arbitrary nature of how it is awarded.
