  1. I agree that someone will move, and I am all for that. I am not sure it should be Estrada though. But like you, having Stroman take over for either him or Hutch is a positive. One thing to consider is who out of Hutch and Estrada would you rather see coming out of the pen? For me, it is Hutch and by a large margin. I think his stuff would play better. He has the type of arm that could be dominant out of the pen. We are really in a great position either way. I can't believe how this season is playing out...It's really hard to fathom that all this is actually happening lol.
  2. What has Estrada done to deserve going to the pen? I see it playing out that one of the current 5 not named Price, Buehrle, or Dickey that is the first to falter will lose their spot.
  3. No it doesn't. It means they might want an option for Goins, and probably like him as depth once the rosters expand.
  4. Other than that though, he's been hard not to like over the last dozen starts. Nice to see him earning his pay this year, and what a time to start doing so!
  5. ^ and close his mouth. (edit: while pitching, not in a verbal diarrhea type of way)
  6. Sweeping for sure tonight! Nice to see Martin getting a rest.
  7. I don't mind this idea, though i think Pompey is a different type of player than Revere. Alford, as much as i like his upside, is more similar to Revere. A better Revere, upside-wise. Pompey has a bunch of unrealized power in his bat. Edit: I should add, Alford apparently could have plus power as well in the future, but i've seen it first hand in Pomps.
  8. The trigger finger around here is "most displeasing", if i may sir Kangrioter.
  9. I think i'd rather go for a Gallardo type though and call up Pompey.
  10. Can't see that. I'd say more like one of them and some lesser pieces. Something like Norris, Boyd and Tellez?
  11. That'd be fantastic. I'd do SRF for Gallardo i think even.
  12. Get off the internet Dad.
  13. Voted yes, but losing Hutchison in the deal makes it feel like not enough of an upgrade for a playoff push. Feels more like an off-season type of move depending on how Alford continues to progress. Castro as well. Archer is a no-brainer though. He is too good to pass on.
  14. Good: Smoak Awful: LF Get Pompey the fug up here.
  15. Who's front butt is that in your avie? A TB manager? It is repulsive!
  16. this is going to be a long game my friends. buggle up.
  17. Krod is my favorite reliever on the list. Would cost a fair chunk though as he is cheap with a very team-friendly option if i'm not mistaken.
  18. Does anyone have access to Ben Badler's Baseball America article on Guerrero, Jr.? Much appreciated if ya do!
  19. If he was in a straight-jacket he'd be twice as stomach-able.
  20. For Pentecost, SRF and Castro. That is fair to me if there is some salary retention on their side.
  21. He looks like he might have a bat that will play at 2B or even 3B. He's 19.
