    LOL at wasting 6 relief pitchers in a blowout effort last night. Our pen has overperformed thus far this year, hard to expect similar success when our starters are rarely going 6 innings.

    I'm sure the disparity in statistics is probably much greater in regards to pitching than hitting between these two ball clubs.

    Walking is important no doubt but without clutch hitting it can be all for naught. Jays walked 7 times on Sunday and mustered all of one run.

    I'm fine with Melky at DH and Edwin at 3b. Having Izturis, De Rosa, & Boni all relegated to the bench is long overdue.

    Can't believe the Rays dumped Shields in the offseason and didn't skip a beat. This rotation is still top tier. I dunno how they can continue to develop quality young pitchers at such an alarmingly successful rate.

    I love Juan Perez. Not too many pitchers finally put it together this late in their career, but he just been stellar this year. I'm really pulling for him.

    Any chance we can fetch anything for Sergio Santos? I'm guessing not much, as he would likely offer very little down the stretch to contending teams seeing as his health is a huge question mark for the remainder of the season but perhaps in the offseason? I was excited when we signed him last offseason but now almost 2 years later we've gotten what, 12 or so innings out of him. I don't think Santos is talented enough that we give him the McGowen treatment and sit around waiting for him to get healthy, harsh as it may sound.

    I doubt there would be a single complaint on this fourum if any one of Boni/JPA/De Rosa/Izturis got moved tomorrow. Can't say I'd miss any one of them.
