  1. Yeah you just cannot spot Shertzer 4 runs. Game is pretty much over. The sad thing is, if Bonifacio fields that ball and turns two like he should Jays get out of that inning unscathed.
  2. Shame we let the game get away yesterday, its gonna be difficult to pick up a win with Shertzer on the mound and it won't get any easier tomorrow. 6-9 are black holes, I don't think any of them are hitting even .230. What date will it be that we actually field our starting opening day lineup (with Lawrie)? Having Boni & Izturis both playing is becoming increasingly tiresome.
  3. Going to the ball park tonight, kinda bummed I'm gonna miss Edwin but looking forward to seeing Reyes live for my first time.
  4. Yeah you take away those back to back to back HRs in the Rays game and Esmil still had a pretty quality start. The game was still very much within reach for the Blue Jays.
  5. Rogers is a beast. 95mph fast ball 88mph slider and 82mph change up, that's some quality stuff. Nice to know we have a guy that can step in and start and give us a quality chance to win games. Who knows he might even be a viable 4th or 5th option next year when Josh Johnson leaves town.
  6. Never know just might happen this season apparently Yanks are interested
  7. *face palm* traded June 14th, this is news to me
  8. Man I sooo wanna see a dominant 8-run+ thrashing of the Sox today. 90% chance Zaun's key to victory today will be ' sinker not stinker'.
  9. Career .287 hitter jackass with solid defence/speed to boot and only 27 years old. But I guess he's a scrub and Lawrie is a future perennial all star?
  10. How the hell does this kid have a 2.0 WAR in only 37 games? His 1.016 OPS is obviously unsustainable but impressive nonetheless.
  11. Amazing how well the Sox are hitting. Pedroia, Victorino, Ortiz, Ellesberry, Nava, & Carp are all hitting up over or just under the .300 clip. Inglesias has only played 37 games but is seeing everything. Kid could be something special, especially with his defence and speed on the base paths. Sure their hitter friendly ball park can misconstrue their stats slightly, but this is a vastly superior hitting team to the Jays. Then they have studs like Pedro Cirianco riding the bench. Just goes to show their depth.
  12. How does the NFL and its 'tough coaches' have anything to do with the Jays or Jose Bautista whatsoever?
  13. I know Lind is just barely hitting .100 against Lester but I'd still start him. 'He should be playing every day' *Greg Zaun voice*
  14. Who is more hated on this forum JP or Bonifacio?
  15. Hilarious that the Angels have been owned by the Astros this year. I'm sure they graciously accepted Houston in their division at first but it has backfired completely, especially since the As and Rangers have ran through them, as expected.
  16. That lineup looks so much more potent with Reyes in there
  17. JPA blows so many double play opportunities with his horrid defence.
  18. Let's get some runs here boys and make things interesting.
