  1. Lol Sierra is the new JP Arencebia of the forum. Kid has hardly had any playing time at all this year. Yeah he sucks and our bench is useless but let him get some more ABs he certainly won't be this bad forever.
  2. Bret Lawrie is starting to find it. Maybe he lives up to the 20-25 HR potential we thought he might be capable of after he was called up in 2011.
  3. Jackie Bradley is like the Sox version of Anthony Gose. Maybe even better range.
  4. I've always been impartial to Gibby and his management of this ball club but his rationale here is just retarded. Your best pen guys should absoloutely be coming out in your highest leverage situations.
  5. He's hitting. 343 for the tigers right now too. All the more magnified by the fact Sierra is all but useless.
  6. What makes this loss so painful is that the Sox didn't hit well or pitch well at all today.
  7. Great AB by Reyes even though he could have walked about five pitches sooner.
  8. We're one swing of the bat away from evening things up here
  9. Greg Zaun may be an idiot but I love watching him rip into the Jays after they stink it up. At least he's not drunk off the Blue Jays kool aid like Mr. Wilner .
  10. For some reason this team has a tendency to quit hitting when they cough up leads. Have they even come back to win a game this year at any time after trailing by two or more runs? Hopefully they can get to Bucholtz this inning, he doesn't particularly look very sharp today.
  11. How can one team have this many meltdowns in such a short span? This game is eerily similar to game two against the Os. 3 run lead blown after the starter walks the bases loaded and the longman gives up a grand slam. No lead is safe with this team.
  12. I'm actually really scared of the Red Sox right now. Jays seem to be a perfect remedy for a struggling ball club.
  13. Good teams just don't cough up big leads like this. That debacle in Minnesota giving up 6 runs in one inning off one hit, then that final game in Cleveland where Loup loads the bases then has them all come in on a two out double. Now back to back nights blowing 5 and 3 run cushions to the Os. Hard to believe we can choke this many times in just over a week. Embarassing.
  14. Shame Reyes couldn't get up for one more at bat. Amazing how unsafe a 5 run lead is with this team. What happened to our stellar bullpen from last year? 16 hits and we still lose *sigh*
