    I've certainly leaned to the Bauer side in all of this (and think that's a crazy suspension), but the assault comparable don't really match up to an assault & rape charge. If that's what MLB thinks happened, then it should be more than the various assaults. I'm not convinced that's what happened, but the comparisons aren't exactly apples to apples

    are you my brother owner in BORED? I got him in the 3rd round of DDL and felt pretty good about it. Now I feel pretty DAMN good about it lol.

    Reese just had no spot on this team. Options and some potential with the bat with Collins, so I think this was a great move.

    wow 17 last year, 20 in 2019. Not at the top of the league, but on the first page (15th) Then again, those are the same totals as Vlad in those 2 years lol

    I can't say I 'like' the rule. I think it feels dumb and gimmick, and would honestly prefer a tie. But I can't say I could muster the energy to get that mad about it. And I don't miss even the occasional 20 inning game.

    A likely overpay and a likely underpay for my squad today. No denying I got better for this year. So no regrets here.

    getting a 6 WAR player for 2 years at bargain price is getting underrated by a lot of ppl on here. I totally get the sentiment of 'lets make this a dynasty rather than a window', but the upgrade is so huge its hard to understate.

    Jays do seem to like to get guys into their system as a way of courting them to stay. They've put a ton of effort & cash into creating an environment players want to be in. Just a random thought about 1 year trades.

    ugh, as a Story fanboy, I hate that the deal is so cheap, and that is cheap for the f'n Sox. Oh well, at least as a fantasy owner its not a bad place to move from COL

    yeah, I expect we will see him again, just probably not with the Dodgers. The minute his suspension is figured out / done I wouldn't be surprised if he and the Dodgers worked out a deal to release him from his contract. Dude wants to pitch so he can audition for the next contract and he's only really under contract for next year anyway.

    Yeah, Colorado is pretty beautiful and Kris seems like a pretty chill-out type of guy. I'd probably do the same thing after a good stretch in the MLB. But that's also probably part of the reason I could never play pro sports in the first place, b/c I'm not motivated/dedicated enough kind of guy. But Kris might just be one of those uber natural talent guys that can make it work without the insane drive it usually takes to be a good MLB player.

    Was that based of steamers or steamers600? I'm sure Grich's projections still have a lot of AB's listed that he may or may not get.

    I'm not really ready to throw in the towel on Biggio, given he's not that far removed from putting up like 3.5 WAR in a season worth of AB's and was injured a lot of last year. The shine is off, but I don't think you blow the bank to replace him without giving him a shot.

    Somebody with more autism than me should analyze which teams out there are an appreciably better 4th OF than Grich. You can't obsess about the money as there is nothing to be done about that. I think we could do worse.
