meh, I rode him to 2nd place after Eaton went down early! He is undoubtedly a determent to all ratios (bit of a stretch to say he'll LOSE you HR's and RBI's). But I did actually go 20-1-0 or something stupid in SB's last year, in no small part because of Billy.

Looking to deal Billy Hamilton pre cut. Looking for the best offer of a prospect, pick, or prospect + pick I can get. I'll take offers till this weekend (sort of a soft auction as I don't be pumping it up like AG (much to my deficit, I just don't have the time to do that)). Balk as you might at the ratios, the guy can legit win you a cat a week (more SB's than the team total of 7 teams) and contributes in runs. I've had a bit of interest already this OS, but I'm now motivated to move him with my Kela addition.

Anyone think Cobb is a target? Could pay him basically all of our remaining $15M. Would vastly improve the rotation and would be a tasty trade piece if he stays healthy enough to shake the 'injury' prone label at any time during his contract. I figured he'd be too expensive, but there is a lot of 14M per year type estimates out there, and 4 years wouldn't be too bad a term.

to be fair Dinger, Diaz is projected as a .5 WAR player over less than 200 PA's and Goins got 460PA's last year. I do agree 2 is a stretch to bank on, but I could see a 1.5 WAR swing as a reasonable assumption if he gets enough playing time (Goins at -.5 WAR, Diaz at +1 WAR)

with health in the rotation, I think we def make a go at it. If we lose significant time in the rotation, we're cooked. Our depth is pretty non-existent there (yeah Borucki!!)

pretty much exactly the type of OS we needed. Low risk short term additions. Try and compete this year, sell off contracts if we don't to start the 'soft rebuild'.

1 WAR for 5M in a spot we have precious few options. Pretty easy to see him being worth 2 WAR (has the last 3 seasons). Great value sign and someone who will be easy to move at the deadline if we are out considering his amazing clubhouse reputation.

I think Yelich is a great target and we should put our best foot forward. I'd have no issues giving up Alford, Warmouth, and a sweetener. I've heard Greene who I would drop in a heartbeat. Maybe he has some value because of the big arm. I'd move him in a flash. I'd love to keep Pearson, but if it closes the deal, he's not untouchable. I'm a big Bichette guy, but if you are getting Yelich for him on an absolute steal of a contract, you have to pull that trigger. You almost have as much control on him (5 years) as you would on Bichette and he's proven. If things don't go as you hope, you can defs recoup value on the prospect side by trading him. -
meh, I got Knebel, so I should have some saves. Kimbrel would look very nice, but I think that ship has sailed with the asking price.

I have played the 'wait for them to be healthy' game before and its never worked out yet! Meaning that Urias will 100% make a full recovery and be awesome because I traded him.
