Janssen had a ~3.5 xFIP entering the 2014 allstar break and his fastball velocity had already declined to ~88 MPH at that point. Strikeouts were way down (although the walks were too), it was only a matter time before he was blowing up in games for us. Which... he did, as he was utter s*** in the second half. Sickness or not. He's not a good reliever anymore, it's time to cut bait and move on.
