I edited the rules to reflect the change that undrafted oversea import players with NHL contracts will be eligible for the waiver draft (not the prospect draft) (see: Artemi Panarin, Sergei Plotnikov). As well as players with more than 4 years of professional experience without an NHL game being eligible for the waiver draft too (see: Jeremy Smith).

I suggested category changes in June but was shot down very quickly. I feel like we could remove shutouts now (It's almost random and shouldn't effect the way teams have been built too much) and maybe add another category like faceoff wins for 2016-17. Faceoff% is not an option in Yahoo. Not sure if I like min appearances as 1, seems too little. Not much strategy if you get lucky with one start early in the week. 2 seems fine, IMO. As for removing a goaltender slot, I like it for 16-17, but I'm biased because I have 5 goaltenders and that would suck for me.

Another thing - would it be reasonable to close off free agency until we find a replacement for silvergun and then give him (the new manager) his choice of players to fill out his roster? Edit: I mean after the waiver draft.
