Kirk rocking a casual 196 wRC+ since the start of May. I know that's unsustainable production but wondering what his true talent level is. He doesn't look like he's getting lucky to me, actually underperforming his xxwOBA by a significant margin on the year. His MLB stats this year are similar to what he was doing in the minors, now. What a stud. Steamer has him as the 17th best hitter in baseball right now: 1) Vlad 2) Yordan 3) Soto 4) Trout ---- (tier drop) 5) Judge 6) Tucker 7) Tatis ----- (tier drop) Harper Ramirez Stanton Devers Pete Alonso Acuna Goldy Freeman Bregman Kirk Just ahead of guys like Ohtani and Betts. -
He's probably going to have to throw 50+ and then get sent down after the game

My first game was at the end of the 2007 season. My dad won tickets to that game and we went to the game, and while we were there he entered another contest to win tickets to the home opener in 2008. Somehow won that contest too. It came with I believe $10,000, a new TV and computer, and an all expenses (hotel/flight) paid trip to Toronto for the home opener. Also got to go on the field for batting practice, meet some of the players, on the Jumbotron during the game. The player they got to meet with us was Jeremy Accardo. Trip of a lifetime though for my family and especially a young kid like me not being from Ontario.
