  1. Good idea. It's formatted with the team names page though so I'll let z3r0s fix it up.
  2. This wasn't supposed to be a Spittin bash. I was just merely pointing out that there is a division where the current leader has a sub .500 record. It speaks to all of the teams in the division not just him. But all 5 of those teams would be last place in division 3 by a significant amount and not in the playoffs. Essentially getting a free pass in. It's not that hard to understand. Maybe Spittin goes on a tear for the rest of the season and ends up as a legitimate playoff record team. I don't know what the future will hold.
  3. You have to win though and Spittins team hasn't. .477 win% speaks for itself.
  4. Done. Also keep in mind that prospects over the max games played limit (60gp including playoffs) will have to be promoted before the waiver draft cutdown in September.
  5. I processed those. I'm also going to cut Anthony Richard.
  6. http://i.imgur.com/GO02udv.png Wtf is this? Someone here is getting a free ride to the playoffs.

The Herd takes three of four from Lehigh Valley in a series at Coca-Cola Park. In the top of the 10th inning, Jio Mier connected for a two-run home run, breaking a 3-3 tie that had held since the seventh inning. Mier's bomb, which came off reliever Michael Mariot, is just his second homer of the year, with his first long ball of the season coming on Friday against the Pigs. Left fielder Andy Burns had three of the Bisons' 10 hits, and was a triple shy of the cycle. Burns put Buffalo up 1-0 in the second inning, shooting a solo home run off starter David Buchanan. Burns, in his second game since returning to the Herd after a stint with the Blue Jays, now has three homers this year. He doubled in the top of the fifth, and scored on a sac-fly by Junior Lake to make it 2-0. Bisons' starter Wade LeBlanc retired the first eight hitters he faced, before Darnell Sweeney ripped a single up the middle in the third. He was thrown out by catcher A.J. Jimenez on a stolen base attempt. Five Lehigh Valley singles in the bottom of the fifth tied the game at two. With two runners on base for the first time against LeBlanc, Cedric Hunter cut the Bisons' lead in half, picking up a RBI single. Emmanuel Burriss tied the game at two with a single with two runners on. A running catch by Andy Burns on a shot by J.P. Crawford ended the inning, stranding runners on the corners. The IronPigs put runners on the corners in the sixth, when Max Stassi gave the Pigs a 3-2 lead, drilling a double in to leftfield. LeBlanc then struck out Cedric Hunter with runners on second and third, keeping it a one-run game. Buffalo tied the score at three in the top of the seventh, as A.J. Jimenez bounced into a double play that scored Casey Kotchman. LeBlanc left after 6.0 innings, allowing three earned runs and a season-high 10 hits. IronPigs' starter Buchanan left with the score tied at three, pitching 7.2 innings, yielding nine hits. Neither starter issued a walk, and both allowed three earned runs and struck out four hitters, earning no-decisions. Colt Hynes entered in the bottom of the seventh for the Herd, and stranded a J.P. Crawford triple. Ben Rowen hurled a perfect eighth inning. With Aaron Loup on the mound in the bottom of the ninth, IronPigs' first baseman Max Stassi and manager Dave Brundage were both ejected for arguing balls and strikes by home plate umpire Roberto Ortiz. Loup is creditied with his second win of the season. Dustin Antolin earned his seventh save of the year with a scoreless 10th inning. The Bisons will now head home, and begin a four-game series from Coca-Cola Field with the Louisville Bats. First pitch on Monday is scheduled for 7:05 p.m., with Roberto Hernandez taking the pump for the Herd. Jon Moscot is slated to oppose him for Louisville. BISONS NOTES: Dalton Pompey has been placed on the disabled list with a concussion. Pompey crashed into the leftfield wall while making a catch in Saturday's first game. Bobby Korecky has been activated off the DL. Reliever Patrick McCoy has also been activated off the disabled list, and has been traded to the Colorado Rockies... Wade LeBlanc has yet to allow more than three earned runs in 14 starts… Junior Lake now has a seven-game hitting streak... Ben Rowen brings his scoreless inning streak of 21.1 innings, with 15 straight scoreless outings since May 8. http://i.imgur.com/zYBQqvR.png http://i.imgur.com/3UJDl9S.png http://i.imgur.com/Cvle7Od.png http://i.imgur.com/zuKIUjO.png http://www.milb.com/assets/images/9/9/8/142580998/cuts/Dwight_Smith_Running_1_l93cphyt_wttk0bg2.jpg Dwight Smith Jr. AKRON - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats couldn't avoid the sweep Sunday afternoon, falling 2-1 in 10 innings on Father's Day to the Akron RubberDucks at Canal Park in Akron. The Fisher Cats (29-39) dropped to a season-worst 10 games below .500 with the loss, their seventh walk-off loss of the season. The RubberDucks (41-29) completed their first sweep of New Hampshire since June 4-6 of 2013 in Akron. Dwight Smith, Jr. extended his hitting streak to 16 games with a first-inning single, matching a career-long stretch and moving into a tie for third place all-time for a Fisher Cat. Akron took the early lead in the bottom of the first inning against Fisher Cats starter Casey Lawrence, who issued a one-out walk to Bradley Zimmer. The speedy Zimmer then stole second and third, coming in on a two-out single by Nellie Rodriguez to give Akron the 1-0 lead. New Hampshire evened it up in the top of the third against Akron starting pitcher Rob Kaminsky. Wilkin Castillo led off the frame with a double to deep left and moved to third on a sacrifice bunt. Roemon Fields then punched a single to left, scoring Castillo and tying the game 1-1. The score stayed knotted up until the bottom of the tenth inning, as reliever Jason Berken (L, 2-7) surrendered a leadoff single to Jeremy Lucas. With new reliever Matt Dermody in the game, Jordan Smith socked a triple to right, plating Lucas for the winning run. Lawrence earned a no-decision, allowing a run on four hits and two walks over six innings. His nine strikeouts matched a career high. Berken took the loss despite three innings of good relief, giving up a run on three hits and fanning one. Dermody failed to retire the only batter he faced. The Fisher Cats will try to right the ship Monday night against the Erie SeaWolves, with righty Casey Lawrence starting for New Hampshire against Akron lefty Rob Kaminsky. First pitch from Canal Park is at 2:05 p.m., and Ben Gellman has the call starting at 1:45 p.m. on the Fisher Cats Radio Network. Clifford the Big Red Dog will be appearing at the next Fisher Cats home game on June 24, courtesy of NHPTV. It's also Olympic Night! The result gave South Bend the first-half Eastern Division title and home-field advantage over West Michigan in the Midwest League playoffs come September. The Whitecaps twice rallied against the Lugnuts bullpen, tying the game at 3-3 on a Will Maddox two-run homer in the eighth inning and at 4-4 on a Cam Gibson two-out RBI single. Reliever Josh DeGraaf (Win, 4-4) settled matters down, facing the minimum in the tenth and eleventh innings, striking out two, and putting the Lugnuts in position for the win. Jake Thomas led off the bottom of the eleventh with a single against Jordan Smith (Loss, 4-3), taking second on a wild pitch. Max Pentecost struck out looking before Hissey launched a fly ball to deepest right-center. West Michigan right fielder Derek Hill gave a leap at the front of the warning track but was unable to come up with the ball, and Thomas streaked around the bases with the game-winning run. The starting matchup was headlined by Midwest League ERA leader Matt Hall on the mound for the Whitecaps, but he was outpitched by Lugnuts starter Jordan Romano. Hall allowed a season-high three runs on seven hits and two walks in five innings, raising his ERA from 0.73 to 1.09. Romano countered with five hits, two walks and seven strikeouts in five innings, allowing only a second-inning run, as the Lugnuts built a 3-1 lead. Hissey and Ryan Metzler each collected three hits for the Lugnuts, with Metzler driving in the tie-breaking run in the eighth with a triple off of right fielder Hill's glove. Whitecaps second baseman Brett Pirtle was ejected for arguing balls and strikes in the eleventh inning. The Midwest League now breaks for the 52nd All-Star Classic, hosted on Tuesday night at Cedar Rapids' Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium. The Lugnuts will be represented by five players - pitchers Jon Harris, Dusty Isaacs and Angel Perdomo and position players Andrew Guillotte and Juan Kelly. The second half of the MWL season opens with a four-game homestand at Cooley Law School Stadium, pitting these very same West Michigan Whitecaps against the Lansing Lugnuts. The Bisons' bested Lehigh Valley 3-1 in the early game, but fell 10-4 in game two. Game one A six-inning shutout start from Drew Hutchison, and RBI from Jesus Montero, Domonic Brown and Matt Dominguez, gave the Herd a 3-1 win in game one. Offense was in short supply for the majority of the game, as both clubs totaled just 10 hits, while hitters struck out a combined 25 times. The Bisons' staff fanned 14 IronPigs, with Hutchison picking up 10 whiffs. Lehigh Valley starter Reinier Roibal, recalled from Double-A Reading, allowed no hits through the first three innings. Domonic Brown leadoff the fourth inning with a ground-rule double for Buffalo's first hit. An RBI double by Jesus Montero scored Brown, giving the Herd a 1-0 lead. The Bisons loaded the bases later in the fourth, and scored a second run on a hot-shot fielder's choice to third base off the bat of Junior Lake. The righty Roibal left after 3.2 innings, in what was his first start since May 4. Gregory Infante entered out of the bullpen for the IronPigs, and got David Adams to chase a high fastball, leaving runners on the corners to end the inning. Matt Dominguez made it 3-0 with one swing off reliever Frank Herrmann in the top of the eighth, drilling his seventh home run of 2016. Nick Williams hit a two-out triple off Hutchison in the bottom of the first, but a strikeout of Darin Ruf ended the inning. Hutchison yielded just one hit through his first four innings, notching four-straight strikeouts at one point. The IronPigs finally threatened in the sixth, as two singles put runners on first and second against. The righty Hutchison proceeded to strikeout first baseman Max Stassi, setting a new season high 10 strikeouts. He left after 6.0 shutout frames, giving up four hits and one walk. Pat Venditte loaded the bases in the eighth, thanks to two walks and a fielder's choice. The switch-pitcher fanned Stassi, and closer Ryan Tepera came in to face Cedric Hunter. Tepera got Hunter, last night's hero for the IronPigs, to chase a full-count pitch for a strikeout. In the bottom of the ninth, Dalton Pompey crashed into the leftfield wall, while making a catch on a Logan Moore fly ball. Pompey stayed in the game. Taylor Featherston avoided a shutout for Lehigh Valley, drilling a RBI double with two outs in the ninth. J.P. Crawford flew out to center to end the game, securing Tepera's ninth save of the year. http://i.imgur.com/T0Omn9w.png http://i.imgur.com/PaHcWLu.png http://i.imgur.com/Iy0LjXk.png Game two In game two, the IronPigs bested the Bisons 10-4, thanks to a strong offesnve showing up and down the Lehigh Valley lineup. The IronPigs scored three runs in both the first and second innings, scoring at least one run in each of the first five innings. Every IronPig batter had at least one hit by the fifth inning, and every batter, besides Darnell Sweeney had at least one RBI. Lehigh Valley scored in every inning they batted in, besides the sixth and eighth, and the club tailed 16 hits, eight of which were doubles, on top of four Bisons' errors. Darin Ruf gave Lehigh Valley a quick 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first, drilling a two-run double off Bisons' starter Scott Diamond. Emmanuel Burriss drove a two-out RBI triple later in the frame, making it a 3-0 game. David Adams cut the Herd's deficit to 3-1 in the top of the second, scoring Junior Lake with a RBI single off James Russell. Three RBI doubles, all to the right-centerfield gap, pushed the IronPigs' lead to 6-1 in the bottom of the second. Alexi Casilla connected for his second home run of the season in the top of the third, reducing the Pigs' lead to 6-2. In the bottom of the third, David Lough hit a ball off the second base bag for a RBI single. Lehigh Valley pushed their lead to 8-2 by the bottom of the fourth, as Andrew Knapp plated Ruff with a double. The Bisons tried to battle back in the fifth, when Jesus Montero and Junior Lake came through with run scoring singles against Russell. Buffalo loaded the bases in the inning, bringing David Adams to the plate as the tying run in an 8-4 game. Russell got Adams to ground into a force at second, ending the threat. Scott Diamond left after 5.0 innings, allowing nine runs, eight of which were earned, and 14 hits, as his record falls to 4-7. Lehigh Valley starter James Russell surrendered four runs over 5.0 innings, and he improves to 2-2 on the year. Luis Garcia and Edubray Ramos pitched a combined 4.0 shutouts innings in relief for the IronPigs. John Anderson pitched a scoreless top of the sixth for Buffalo, Bo Shultz allowed a RBI double to Carlos Alonso in the seventh, as the IronPigs lead grew to 10-4. Though the Bisons totaled 12 hits, with every hitter having at least one base knock, their loss in game two drops the Herd's record to 36-33. Buffalo still sits in fourth place in the IL North. The Bisons and IronPigs wrap up their four-game series on Sunday. The Father's Day ballgame is set for 1:35 p.m. from Coca-Cola Park. Wade LeBlanc, the Bisons' ace, will be opposed by David Buchanan. BISONS NOTES: In between games, Andy Burns was activated to the Bisons, after appearing in three games with the Blue Jays this week. Reliever Chad Jenkins has been placed on the disabled list… Junior Lake had hits in both games, increasing his hitting streak to seven games… David Adams went hitless in four at bats in game one, snapping his hit streak at nine games… Drew Hutchison passed teammate Wade LeBlanc and Durham's Jaime Schultz to move into third place on the IL strikeout leaderboard… Ryan Tepera has now recorded nine straight saves in as many opportunities since April 18… Scott Diamond's outing saw him surrender the most earned runs, eight and hits, 14, of any Bisons' starter this year. However, his seven strikeouts are a season high for the lefty. http://i.imgur.com/na3FwO9.png http://i.imgur.com/lrgzavo.png http://i.imgur.com/XRfmaLO.png http://www.milb.com/assets/images/5/8/4/179304584/cuts/Tellez_Rowdy_5316_schofield_tzk8zlgm_6o63rjm8.jpg Rowdy Tellez AKRON - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats stifled the Akron RubberDucks' bats, but their own hitters were even more conspicuously quiet in a 3-1 loss at Canal Park Saturday night. New Hampshire (29-38) fell to a season-worst nine games below .500 with the loss. Akron (40-29) notched their 40th win of the season despite mustering only two hits against the Fisher Cats' pitching staff. Fisher Cats outfielder Dwight Smith, Jr. extended his hitting streak to 15 games in the first inning with a one-out single. The Fisher Cats opened the scoring in the top of the first inning against Akron starting pitcher Nick Pasquale. Jason Leblebijian drew a one-out walk, and Dwight Smith, Jr. singled him to third base. With two outs, Rowdy Tellez poked a grounder to left, scoring Leblebijian and giving New Hampshire the 1-0 lead. Akron evened the score in the bottom of the first against New Hampshire starter Luis Santos. Bradley Zimmer cracked a one-out double, and advanced to third on a Clint Frazier groundout. With Jeremy Lucas at the dish, Santos fired a wild pitch, allowing Zimmer to score and tying the ballgame at 1-1. The RubberDucks took the lead in the bottom of the fifth against Fisher Cats reliever Murphy Smith. Ivan Castillo drew a leadoff walk, and advanced to second on a grounder by Todd Hankins. Zimmer dropped a sacrifice bunt that moved the runners to second and third. Frazier then brought Castillo home on a ground-out, putting Akron in front 2-1. Akron doubled their lead against reliever Matt Dermody in the bottom of the seventh. Castillo led off with a chopper to third that hopped over Leblebijian. Dwight Smith overran the ball, and it rolled slowly to the fence. Castillo took advantage, racing around the bases for an inside-the-park homer to give Akron the 3-1 edge. Santos took a no-decision, allowing one run on a hit and three walks in three innings; he fanned three. Murphy Smith took the loss, allowing an unearned run on two walks against two strikeouts over three innings. Dermody surrendered a run on one hit in two-thirds of an inning, with one strikeout registered. Danny Barnes fired 1.1 perfect innings, whiffing three. The Fisher Cats will try to avoid the sweep Sunday afternoon, with righty Casey Lawrence starting for New Hampshire against Akron lefty Rob Kaminsky. First pitch from Canal Park is at 2:05 p.m., and Ben Gellman has the call starting at 1:45 p.m. on the Fisher Cats Radio Network. http://i.imgur.com/DHc9QTz.png http://i.imgur.com/yyHlyjl.png http://i.imgur.com/44TnKPc.png http://i.imgur.com/2Vjb343.png http://i.imgur.com/kBCtd8u.png http://i.imgur.com/jqaSZjX.png http://i.imgur.com/MCw7sGN.png http://i.imgur.com/meS7xSI.png http://i.imgur.com/JDHZPHr.png http://i.imgur.com/ki6dIgO.png http://i.imgur.com/dMi2hS4.png http://i.imgur.com/vM5Tgjl.png http://i.imgur.com/wsoH6wT.png http://i.imgur.com/J5JwOa8.png Kings 3 Stars of the Night 1) Drew Hutchison: Hutch went 6 strong innings with 10 strikeouts. 2) Jon Harris: Harris moved one step closer to a Dunedin promotion going 6.1 innings with 6 strikeouts. 3) Meliton Reyes: The 18 year old RHP continued his stellar start to his professional career striking out 5 in 2.2 innings. Kings Platinum Arencibia 1) Scott Diamond: Diamond went 5 innings.. giving up 14 hits and 8 earned runs, but struck out 7 and walked none. 13. http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/varsityxtra/article_48a11320-35b6-11e6-a7b7-a3f18211808d.html#.V2XuSSQUlLI.twitter A call from a family member sometimes can make all the difference, even if the guy on the other end of the phone comes from the extended family and wears blue and orange in New York City. Legumina is committed to Gonzaga and Morell is set to go to Grand Canyon University. On the second day of the draft, the Blue Jays called Legumina’s father to see if they would be willing to sign if he was selected within the first 10 rounds, but the financial side of it didn’t work out. “It was hard to say to no to the offer,” Legumina said. “Schooling means a lot to my family, and it wasn’t enough to pass up a scholarship. So they said they’d take me later in the draft if they could to see if something could be worked out.” The Blue Jays ended up taking him in the 25th round as Legumina became the highest East Valley high school selection.
  14. Nothing. He probably goes unsigned at this point. But who knows, things can change quickly, like Reggie Pruitt last draft.
  15. We didn't draft any guys that would sign for $10,000 in the top 10 rounds more as we went for guys who would go slightly overslot/slightly underslot, back and forth etc.
  16. Sounds about right yeah. Then sign Snead for slot and offer the rest of the leftover money to Winckowski.
  17. Just updated the table on the front. http://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/threads/6367-2016-Blue-Jays-Draft-Signing-Thread Looks like we have already gone over the slot amount with 1 to go (Kirby Snead waiting for college world series to end). Should still get under that 5% threshold though. That's also without knowing if we gave overslot $ to anyone other than Hosterman in rounds 11-40.
  18. Chris Cotillo ‏@ChrisCotillo 21h21 hours ago Blue Jays sign 9th-rdr (282) Nick Hartman for slot value of $163.1K. Hartman got slot value too.

  20. They are blind homers, that ban people for being pessimistic.
  21. Roy Firestone Im guessing thats it for Gallardo. If so, Im pretty pleased. Id take 2 runs thru 5 everytime against the Jays.AND especially the way we have pitched.
