Hansel is good. We signed him with the ifa money we got when we traded Brent Morel (or some name like that) to the Angels after taking him in the rule 5 draft a few years ago. Also.. He's in Bluefield, not the DSL. But this is a fine trade. I like it.

The Lugnuts finished 2016 interdivision play with an 11-13 record, 3-9 in the second half. Kane County scored two runs in the third inning, three runs in the fifth, three in the eighth and one in the ninth to cruise to the win. All four Lansing pitchers allowed at least one run in the game, from starter Angel Perdomo to relievers Dan Lietz, Daniel Young and Ryan Cook. Perdomo (Loss, 3-5) struck out six batters to move into sole possession of second place in the Midwest League with 115 strikeouts, though he also gave up four runs on five hits and four walks in four innings plus two batters into the fifth. Ozuna followed with a three-run homer off incoming reliever Lietz, his third home run of the year.
